Hoi hoi,

nein, wir sind anscheinend zu zweit. But let's talk in English, some forums don't like it when you post in german.

What network provider do you use, Jack?

Posted by jack00
i use A1 - it's not the cheapest but the best *g*
how old are you?

Posted by Codman
Will be nineteen in a month - why, wanna marry me?

And I don't like A1 - they where arrogant back then when they had the telephone monopol, I don't think they have changed ..

Posted by jack00
but that wasn't their fault - Telekom Austria belongt to the staat [abit is also belonging to them now ] - i think you have ONE or T-Mobile, but I guess that it is ONE
i'm getting 16 in august - so, sorry we can marry - [schme ole]

I know, but I think that A1 isn't supporting private customers as good as commercial companies ect.
Maybe 'we' are not their 'Zielgruppe'

Got that one right, I use "Connect Austria AG" (aka "One")

sure thing, but I'm paying 12,50 €/month and I get from One everything I need (WAP, GPRS, Email, Roaming when aboard) - how much do you pay? And what do you get?

Posted by jack00
I don't need wap - even though I have it, I have roaming - that's now even better with vodaphone, and I get 99,9 % Netzabdeckung - I have B-Free, I know that this is the most expansive thing in austria

Posted by Codman
Hehe okay, but there is one thing which I really hate about B-Free: The advertisments for B-Free, they suck beyond all recognission

Posted by jack00
but in general the a1 ad's arn't that bad - like the one with the two ericsson phones and the one with the p800

Posted by Codman
I don't know that ad - but I don't watch TV all the time

Yes, it's quite dumb that it is impossible to delete the predefinied stuff to gain more free space on the phone.
Maybe someone with great skill can write a proggie to remove them .. who knows?

Posted by mipgo
hehe.. well, the best would be if the guys from t-mobile would just chill out and not change any pics etc. in the software *lol*

but i kinda got used to the girlie pink touch of my beloved mobile

cheers

mipgo, have you visited some GSM Shops in Vienna?
I'm looking for a black frontplate for my phone, this "icy blue color" gives me the creeps .. are there any frontplates available?

Posted by mipgo
hmm... i'm not sure exactly but i heard you can buy them already... and even more styles than the 3 standard ones... have a look in operator shops (if i can recall it right, you can get it in t-mobile shops)

mfg, mike

Posted by Codman
Those are quite expensive, I'll take a look at a so-called 'tschuschen-handyladen' (no offense meant to anyone)
I hope they sell cheaper ones there - if not, I will have to buy the original cover ..

Posted by mipgo
hehe
well, you could have a look... may be a better pick than in the t-mobile shops. THere we'd be able to maybe even get some pink covers *lol* (i dunno the combination for the puking smiley)

mfg

Posted by Codman
well, a pink cover is the least thing I need on my phone

another austrian...

Welcome

welcome #4

but anyone know anything about the release date of the t610? i mean se told me end of june... but still for me, it's far to long for a mobile like that *lol*

seas, mike

Posted by jack00
maybe call A1 - they are buying the phones together with Vodaphone, maybe we can get new phones like the T610 now faster - but thats just a guess

t610 ? Even if I knew when it would be relased I couldn't afford it - costs surely a "lawine"
I think I have to go with my t300 until next year when I can get another phone for free/lesser money from One.

Posted by mipgo
well, you're right... but looking at the fact that i have my birthday in july + mäxchen vorrat + vertragsverlängerung ... well i hope i'll get one... i think it'll cost about 400€ erstanmeldung...

mike

Posted by Codman
Well then the Nokia 7650 is cheaper, it costs *only* 199 € + Vertragsverlängerung ..
So what, my T300 + Camera will do finde one year, after that we'll see: maybe then UMTS-Mobile's will be cheaper ..

Posted by mipgo
i really tried out this ominous 13 second trick.. and "siehe da" it worked actually!!! no more t-mobile logos - not even in the menu
but i just have one problem... the games directory is empty but in the "memory status" it shows 149kb ??? dunno what kind of bug that is... but beside this bug i've got 600kb free

mfg, mike

Posted by Codman
What kind of 13-sec-trick ?!
What is that good for ¿

Posted by mipgo
well, the 13 sec trick is for "taking out" the t-mobile crap you can't delete... when you do a master reset and the display shows "please wait" you take out the battery after 10-13 secs... when you switch it on again, you have the original se software inside no more t-zones or t-mobile screensaver...

so no more t.mobile on my phone hehe
mfg, mike

ps: if you want to try it out, watch out, it deletes all your settings and pics etc. + you have to try it out a few times so you catch the right moment to take out the battery...

I use ONE, and they weren't so agressive to put their logo everywhere. It's just 1 graphic, and that can be changed easily.
Another reason why I wouldn't change to t-mobile.
