First of all hello to everyone here, I'm new to this forum. I want to ask a question about buying a phone. I travel very often for work and I was wondering if there is a true world phone available? What I mean by that is a phone where I can really use in any country in the world. I'm not interested in a satellite phone though. I currently use the SE T600 which is triband of course, and it works well in most of north america... but when I went to Anchorage (Alaska), it wouldn't work anymore! I heard that triband phones also don't work in many parts of South America too. So is there a phone which will work everywhere? And if there are, can u plz give me some models as examples. Thanks for your suggestions....

Dont know what the system in alaska. If you travel more in the america than in europe and asia, There are 850/1900 enabled phones available for americas. You can look on T306. Quad-band world phones may be available in the near future.
