gonna get me one soon,i like it a lot because it has so much memory!
you can store a lot of ringtones and wallpapers in it
the keypad design is also better than the 7210,nokia got it right now!
anyone have it?
Posted by mhorton
Couple of my mates have it. Seem okay, Just hope the software is a lot better than the 7210..

i've tested it, it has some bugs, i think about the same ass the 7210. the memory is great (but a lot is pre instaled and can't be deleted), but i have one problem whit the phone, the cam has got a low resolution, and wroking whit the infra red isn't always succes full, it has no bluetooth ( wich i need), battery doesn't seem to last that long, i think the 7210 last longer.
what i like about it, is the purpele colour and the design.
i'm nog gonne buy this phone, and i'm not gonne buy the T610, there both the same, if you need a phone whit alot of memory and a good cam, you'll go for the P800 like i'm gonne do.

I dont think anything bout it-T610 will blow it away

There is no bluetooth compared with t610 - a major admisson imho. Why do not nokia fit bluetooth to phones like this.
Posted by tonedebone2003
Same as a 7210 bar the built in camera n a tad more memory
Posted by sking1547
I had it for 2 days the pictures are great but its a little bulky so i switched to nokia 6100 and which is smaller and i also have the camara .

Its just another example of Nokia making a phone with loads of stuff missing, then slowly introducing extra stuff on the next model, making you buy another phone 9mnths later.

Yup i agree

Tried it. Nice. Missing bt :-l
Posted by doubleduh
I would consider buying it if it had a nice design and Bluetooth...

I prefer the t610 to the 7250 cos of bluetooth and better mms implementation.RE 7250s memory,in the nokia website,it is 765kb.In others,5mb.A friend of mine who has it said 1.5mb net(after deducting all preinstalld items).very confusing. At least wid t610 it s 2mb flat.
Posted by Fahed_2000
I think it beats the T610 by lots of things, specailly that it is already out!!!
Posted by audioslave
7250 is nice but doesn't have the nifty little things like bigger screen, more colors, bt, themes and such.
Posted by diggy
No bt no pop3 pics are small. Save your money and get a 3650. With all the applications loaded on my 128 card I have around 2885 kb of base memory left.

save your money? for the 3650? that thing is about 150 USD with all the damn rebates. that's cheaper than i've seen most other phones, including the 7210...

My point exactly

It was the first non-SE phone I'd consider buying (before the announcing of T610). 7250 is a nice phone but the camera is a little pixely and (compared to 7210) it's kinda thick. If your used tot SE quality (great calander, Bluetooth etc.) wait for the T610 else your just taking a step down (dispite the impressive memory).
Posted by Fahed_2000
I guess it's best if you go for a 3650, great phone... very close to the standerds of the P800,
Think about the attension you'll have if you got either phones, then think about which one to buy

Yap 3650 s much more better than 7250! F u like memory go 3650 it has a expandable memory and a feature like P800 only problem s the keypad. I use 2 have 3650 my self but it only last 4 days before some thief stolled it! Graww.

Wouldnt have the 7250 even if someone gave it to me. Horrible phone.

Yes SE rules honestly i like 2 buy P800 but my budget dont like it! Hehe. :-D dats y i go 3650 same feature w/ P800
Posted by diggy
The t610 has only 2mb of memory?? Wtf is se thinking?
Posted by bart
except of the T610 being better, the 7250 is not that good of a phone, the idea is good, but the support, the softwear and the functions aren't good, so i think its a tipical nokia phone, that doesn't desirve to be bought and certenly not at this high prize.

d 7250 is a gud fon altho it lacks enuf mem fr u to enjoy it FULLY...
cnt win em ol so il go fr d 3650!!!

i think it is shit coz it is nokia

Nice to see a considered and reasonable argument from australia...

With the premisse that the 7250 is based in the same hardware than the 6100 (besides the camera stuff) I won't advise to buy one.
I know 6100 and i was impressed with one thing that I saw in it.
While playing with my friend's brand new 6100, so with it's memory yet intact, i was curious and clicked the "memory" menu.
I was shocked! It showed 226Kb free! What the hell?!?!?
Ok he has 250 contacts but that's it!
That's sh*t, if you start taking pictures with your 7250, you'll get your memory full in no time.

5.2MB can contain many hundreds of pictures

Read this review of the Nokia 7250:
http://asia.cnet.com/reviews/handphones/0,39001718,39008841p,00.htm?
It seems to be a standard Nokia with the normal Nokia limitations. Not very exciting compared to the T610.

at first, i like to have this phone. but after realizing that it doesn't have bluetooth, picture quality is poor, low memory and pictures can't be transfered via IR. i changed my mind..

low memory? you call 5,2mb low? i don't thi,k that's low for the size of the phone!
And you can transfer pics via IR! Just go to nokia phone browser, and you can browse trough the gallery of ur phone! simple!
Posted by ppcrockar
@ bmwfreak_jase
But you can't transfer images via ir to other phones.

there's no other phone that CAN do this i believe!(don't think so,maybe se phones can)
So wy should it work with a7250 then?
Posted by ppcrockar
@ bmwfreak_jase
Every SE phone with an IR-port can transfer images to other IR-devices (i.e other phones, pda's, computers etc). And unlike Nokia you don't need any special software for tansferring images to a PC either. With the latest SE phones you can choose if you want to send an image via bluetooth (bluetooth required of course), IR, MMS, or email .
I don't know why Nokia always cripples the features on their phones (the image tranferring is probably to earn more money from their Club Nokia). As always the software in SE phones are far more flexible.
I'm not 100% sure but I think that the Siemens phones can do this as well.

Think about it.
Nokia sells phones to networks....and networks make no cash from you all sending photos via BT or infrared they make it out of you sending a mms.
This will make the phone more attractive to the networks. I think this is why Nokia phones sell more than others.
The 7250 is a good phone it seems to do all the things i want it to do, Its a lot smaller than the 7650 that i had.

It isnt as earthshaking a phone as the t68. Samsungs and Panasonics have better screens. It seems you cant use all of the 5mb memory. Expensive too.
