MMS not working with E-mail settings

Hey there, I have been using the MMS settings where I have to set up a new Data account and the Hotmail E-mail settings from another post. They both work, but not together. Everytime I check my e-mail, it causes my phone to erase the new data account I had to set up for MMS. Can anybody help me out. Ciao.
