connecting to the internet via GPRS via bluetooth connection

Hi, ive seen a t68 connected to the internet via a bluetooth connection to a Mac. I have a PC and trying to do the same thing. Ive got a USB bluetooth adapter plugged into my computer and i can get my t68 to pair with the PC but i cant get it online using GPRS. Anyone know how i can do it?? I really need help or anything on this. Many thanks Jon

Hello,
You need to set your PC to recognize the phone as a modem.

Then you need to set up a dial-up connection for your connection to the phone.
The settings for that depends on your service provider. The number that you dial (for T-mobile it is *99***2#) -yes, it should be *)will tell the phone to go out on the GPRS connection.

What service provider do you have ? They should have the configuration settings.

Gprs slow?hahah nah,look:my provider offers up to 56kbps/sec but my phone supports up2 40k cuz it only has 2slots.well,they s real 40k!on a regular dialup u get 56k but they r not real.what u get i actually 28-30k REALLY.Of course is slow compared to dsl and isdn but can u take THESE ones in the car,the subway or on a field?think son-its good 4 u hehe

@ GEORGIA REBEL not slow at all its similar to a 56k modem but taking in mind i can go online with my laptop almoust everywere ! Also i pay for 50mb a month round 8 euros a month i dont see it that expencive at all :) Regards Laz.

Speed-wise not bad, but expensive? Yep. With Voda UK I pay Ł7.50 (11 Euros) per month for 1 Mb and 0.05 pence per Kb after that.
How they are going to persuade masses of people to take up GPRS/3G services with these prices beats me!
