Problem with outgoing email?

I have a P800 on Orange, and have set up my email account correctly. I can receive emails, but when I try to send I firstly get sending message progress bar equal to zero, then data sent information, then finally I get error saying that To:, Cc: or Bcc: address is invalid. Can anyone help?
