Ok everyone seems to be talking about the new Siemens SX1 thats cupposed to be comming out sometime soon...but after looking at/reading about the phone id like to make these comments:
The key layout is crap. Its the same way that the 3650 is layed out in the sence that NO PHONE in the world goes 1, 2 ,3 ,4.... down in a str8 line. Vry bad design i think. Although you may get used to it, when you get a new phone you will have to re adjust again.
No Touch Screen? im sorry but after using my P800...its a lifesavor and sooo fast
And wait help me understand if it doesent have a touch screen and non of the keys have letters on them (1-ABC. 2=DEF) how trhe hell do u type a text message?
Yea it has a higher Screen Resolution but that means less battery life. Im content with the color im getting from my P800. Its not Computer or Real Life quality but hey, lol it a phone..and a PDA, and a Camera and a MP3 player..ect For what the P800 has to offer, i think i can handle not haveing a few thosand more shades of yellow
Anyways those are just a few things...so can the Siemens SX1 compete with the SEP800? Well...maybe if u break you P800's touch screen, and never use the Mp3 Player, and dont mind just listening to borring Ringtones, instead of being able to import REAL music onto the phone and using those.

Let me add~ Im not saying that the Siemens SX1 is a bad phone...its just nothing compared to the P800. when comparing Phones, the only phones i could see the Siemens SX1 compeating with would be the Nokia 3650 or the 7210. And if you think about it, if Nokia Combined the 3650 and the 7210, they would probially come out with the Siemens SX1. Also, upon searching more and looking a lot closer at the pics, i noticed that the Letter to TYPE in SMS and thing is on the phone next to the keys. Still, when comparing Touch to MultiTap...common lol. Also, Why do ppl who are bad mouthing the P800 call it HUGE or a BEast? ok...YOU make a PDA/MP3 player/Phone/Digital Camera/Everything else and make it the size of the T68i and weigh about the smae. OMG...everytime i show this phone off its never , "Oh thats too big and bulky and weighs to much" it ALWAYS "I cant believe how small and light it is" If you look around the PDA/Phones that there selling now are HUGE! Its like they took a full sized PDA and added a phone attachment to it. Im not saying the P800 is perfect (ahem...Memory Stick DUO crap) but its still at the top right now, and in my openion will be for quite some time, and even when they do make a better than P800 phone, the P800 with still be one of the most powerfull phone out on the marked for many years. With the ability to improve the software and endless possibilitys for programs/games accessories to be added to the phone, the P800 reign as Superior Royality in the Phone Community will no doubt go on for quite awhile.

i must say that siemens just looks nasty i loved my SL45/i but this is just nasty what are siemens doing????
one thing i did not like about the siemens phones is that they all had 24 hour clocks even my nokia 5146 had 12 and 24 hour clock
