that u cant use mp3 format as a ring tone .... and also that the video player only plays mp4 !!!!!

i know huh...but the ringtones only need to last about 20-25secs...so if u have a part of a song u really like u should convert the MP3 to a WAV then edit it and cut it down to just those 20-25 secs..then u can use that as a ringtone...fiules can get pretty big though...like around 600k but that way instead of playing the song from the beginning, you can play it at any part u like. And HOPEFULLy sometime in the future they will get there act together and make it so u can play any movie file and play MP3s as ringtomes...cus it would save hella space on the phone

i have done that allready .. but a 30 sec wav file is way WAY biger than 600kb .. its like 3 to 4 mb

wow your doing it wrong then lol i have like5 30sec WAVS i use as ringtones and there all 550k-600k

yea i dont know what that is...but if ur only have a 25-30sec WAV file it should only be 600k or so nothing over 1mb for sure

Convert your wav files to mono and not top quality. There's no point in having it in the best quality :-)
