SIM card in Amstradam/London

Will be going to Amstradam and London early May for the first time. Where would be a good place to purchase a pre-paid SIM card?

on a local liqkker shop. In Norway they sell it on 7-eleven and on the garrages and stuff! Im shure the same goes for UK & Netherland

There are plenty of Mobile Phone shops and service points in Amsterdam that sell prepaid SIM-cards. I'll have a look around this week and check for some specific addresses and prices for different providers. Do you have a preference for any providers?

Does your home network not support any roaming? Or is it just too expensive?
