PLease tell me guys.. which one is better?
Posted by Jumper
With MCA-25 you have special options like zoom & effects
Posted by Jammers
But the special options dont work with the T68i
Posted by Jumper
They do!! The only you have to do is upgrading your firmware.
Posted by jellyellie
to get the zoom and effects to workw ith your t68i you have to get the SW upgraeded

.... to r6 or above.

I've seen lots of sites with adverts for an MC-68 - which looks to be the MCA-20. Any idea why it's labeled MC-68? It's not just one bloke so ...

The other camera you have seen is made for/by a 3rd party company called ora, in the uk it is sold by carphone warehouse as mobilecam.

The MCA-20 has more memory than the MCA-25.
The MCA20 can hold 14 VGA (640x480) pics
The MCA25 can hold 10 VGA (640x480) pics
Digital effects aren't really that great... MCA20 is smaller since it has no optical viewfinder... MCA25 is flatter

The MC-68 is advertised as a CommuniCam (SE tm!) at many shops - one example
http://shop.store.yahoo.com/cellularphonesdirect/mccommobcam.html
Sounds dodgy to me - if it truly is NOT a SE product

Thanks a lot guys! Can s.o. tell me something about the quality of the pics? Or even show me any?

how do I upgrade my SW?
Posted by jellyellie
take it to a SE servicepoint and they will either upgrade it there or send it to SE to get it upgraded
Posted by Ronplata
but someone told me that you could upgrade your software
by downloaded to your computer and them sending it to your phone is that true or not?
Posted by jellyellie
not true
Posted by Ronplata
