se T610 or nokia 6100? - Esato archive

i need a new phone,what whould you guys recommend?

Is it worth to get T610 over 6100 if you don't use bluetooth,don't need a 65k colour screen and hate the T610's design?(it's just a T300 with 65k colours built in cam and bleutooth)

6100 is smaller nicer feel and very good looks

i think you have answered your own question.if you dontneed the camera feature not bothered about a 65k display or bluetooth.get the nokia.
however you may have a need for them in the future.
sometimes its better to have the extra things in case you need them
its your money at the end of the day though

It's of course up to you. But the T610 beats the crap out of the Nokia 6100.

The T610 has a better display (more colours and higher resultion), camera, bluetooth, more polyphonic channels for the ringtones, picture caller ID, both Java & Mophun (The Mophun games are much better than Java games), more memory in the phone, user-editable themes (AFAIK Nokia can still not change the colours the way they want to in the display), much better menu sytem. This is afew reason why T610 is better IMHO.

Another thing. Why would you want to change your T300 to a 6100. The T300 is a better phone IMHO. Ok, the Nokia screen is a little better (but if you don't need more colours this doesn't matter right), but that is all. The T300 is just as good or better on everthng compared to teh 6100.

T610 over 6100??? Mismatch!!! Your question shud be.... T68i or 6100? il stil choose t68i though! So wat if 6100 has more colors, it doesnt matter! So wat if 6100 has polytunes, in a world of noise, u nid 2 have a loud ringtone!

T300 is just too ugly for me,so is T610
but i like the features of T300 and T610
that's why i'am having some trouble choosing,you see?

4056 colours to 256 colours is a lot of difference
but 4056 to 65k is not that much different(for such a small screen it isn't) that's what i think

bluetooth has no meaning for me,nor will it in the future

I tried the 6100 the other day, its my friends. He had it for 1 week only and already it had dust under the screen. Also the feel of the phone wasn't worthy the price of it (about 500 )

if the T68i had 4056 colours it would be the perfect phone for me

i'ts the only se phone that i've had in my hands that is well built,looks nice and feels nice in your hand

Well you just answered your question again, get the 6100 before the choices fry your brains out =p but be given a choice i'd get the t610 :-)

T300 hasn't got a nice feel,and T610 will be quite the same as the T300 i think

T610 will cost a lot over here

500 to 600 euro's maybe

@bmwfreak, then get the 6100. You start comparing with the t610 then you say the price is a tad high? Why compare it in the first place? Get the 6100-end of story...

I don't think the T610 will be like the T300. First, the T610 is actually smaller than the T300. T610 also has aluminium body which probably ads to a more genuine feel. I think you should go for the T610 I know I will.
