haha! u werent able to try wat i posted noH? nagkaron tlga ko ng 150 free load. d ba nabalita senyo to? kc lhat ng frends ko deyv bin tryin wat i did yestrday..

yup ok nman ang sun ko since ystrday.. mayb bcoz nag uupgrade nga cla.. tpos nde nman laht ng subs e naapektuhan..

d prob is ayaw magconvert nun load ko to 24/7.. ahehe.. sayang.. laki pa nman nun..

@riderandy
I think what you did was a profile switch, from iText to iSpeak. Your default profile was iText, which allows you to send .50 cents Sun to Sun and 1 peso to other networks. Since you have changed your profile, you will be charged 1 peso Sun to Sun and not .50 cents anymore (if you dony have 24/7). Since you are now iSpeak, i assume, your calls to Sun and to other networks will be at a lower cost..

im not sure with EVERYTHING because i haven't done it myself.

Posted by riderandy
nope i dont tink so.. i thot at first na gnun nga ang mngyayari.. but nde nman,,. stil .50 pa rin ang text ko.. and wat's surprising is neither of the two profiles (i-text or i-speak) ang naactivate ko.. i-speak is profile 1 and i-text is profile 2 (or baliktad).. but profile 3 ang naging active skin.. no such thing ryt?!

nothing peculiar hapend.. same as bfore ang charging..

dami kong frends na nadagdagan ng load..

now dialing 222 returns a "not yet in service" answer..

Posted by T68 MMS
So you are still being charged .50 cents? Do you have 24/7?

Posted by riderandy
yup still .50 cents.. my 24/7 expired ysterday.. dpa ko nakakabili ng bago.. i cant convert my load ryt now kc sbi servce temporarily availble daw e..

Posted by T68 MMS
That's cool, my sister tried it but I didn't. I should have. Im switching to line tomorrow anyway. ό

Yehey! Sun is working now

@619
Di pa ren narerestore yung 42 million load ko to normal. For auction na to starting at 1million

@chili
ARe you indian or mahilig ka lang mang-indian? he he

Posted by chili
As expected, system is much smother now! :-) However, di pa rin daw makatxt sa Pangasinan, although they can call.@steele - Baka naman P5M per send na yang # mo, he he! :lol: Naaaliw kasi ako kay @Pradhika dun sa Indian thread :-D

Posted by _mj_
sa tingin ko gusto lang ng Sun kumuha ng maraming subscribers agad kahit wala pa sila masyadong Value Added Services.

Posted by jedimaster_13
nakakatext na ulit sa sun at hindi na 40million plus ang load ko. kaso wala akong internet over gprs..

Posted by jedimaster_13
ops... i take it back. ok na pala. =p may internet over gprs na ulit.

@steel-gprs signal ng sun. Sa minternet soft reset or refresh ok na ulit

Posted by steele
Ok na gprs ko:-Dnablock daw bec nagbelow zero balance.anyway, it's lesson learned.

Guys, any idea on how we can "petition" Sun to sell unlimited gprs cards for a flat monthly rate? My suggestion to them, if ever, would be to apply that scheme to a wap gateway only, and leave minternet as it is. This would ensure minternet business users on pc that there'll be no congestion. I think P250-P300/card is fair enough. It's near to what Airtel India charges.

Posted by steele
@chili
That's a good idea. However, there are lot of things to consider. Gprs
Stability is one.
By the way, i'll posting the k500i,k700i,and s700i gprs mms and minternet settings. Just dont know if this is the right thread to post it.

Posted by CrackerJack
@steele

Go ahead. That would be a lot of help for everyone posting or just viewing this thread.

Anyway, Gowin will tell you when you're posting it the wrong thread.

Posted by kenski
@steele, yes i think it's ok to post it here! Please post it for everyone to see Thanks in advance dude!

Posted by rustycrusher
okey na po ba ang gprs connection ng sun cellular? kasi last time na gumamit ako nito eh wla ng gprs connection.

Posted by arvinsign
mga dude, have u had any problems or issues with international texting/MMS sa SUN cell?any experience so far? thanks for any informative reply

Posted by steele
guys,

I'll try to post the configs tomorrow. Left the print at home e. So happy because my s700i's internet is working fine Anyway, for all Sun prepaid subcribers who uses Sun for GPRS internet, please don't let your load zero out. Others, Sun will block your account, and would take you forever to activated your account again.

How about csd wap settings? Like globe's dial up +639172399. Is there one for sun? Thanks

Posted by arvinsign
pwde ba OTA settings?

Posted by steele
@bonito
I'll advise tomorrow if i can get the config for csd.

@arvinsign
Yeah ok lang yung OTA. But there are no minternet OTA settings. You have to configure it manually. Best thing to do is to try first the OTA settings. If it doesn't work, just follow steps on my post.

parang di pwedeng blank yung IP address a...hmmm...tinatanong ako ng valid address e kapag blank

what can you say about TNT asking NTC to issue cease and desist order against sun's 24/7???

Posted by steele
@excrusader
TNT has a good reason to file that complaint against Suncellular. Considering the below par Sun is giving us, the low rates doesn't justify Suncellular's lack of customer service satisfation.

@steele-ayaw magconnect eh. Do I have to delete previous ota settings? and I can't find type Ipv4

Posted by rustycrusher
guys, libre ba ang internet sa sun? pls. reply

Posted by rickydel
nope. May charge na lahat. Nakaconnect din at last

Posted by steele
@rickydel

You have to use the minternet settings and not the wap settings when you browse.Normally, when you try to connect, the screen will prompt you what grprs sccount you should use. Use the SUN GPRS and not SUN WAP.
Just ignore the IPV4 kung wala sa phone mo. Some P800 phone have this.
You can just edit the previous OTA settings instead of deleting it. the OTA settings doesn't work on your phone?

Posted by rustycrusher
may charge na pala! pero last feb 4, naka-browse ako sa iba't-ibang wapsites at wla namang bawas sa laod ko...

pwede po bang humingi ng settings for n6600

Posted by steele
@rusty
Sun gprs is not FREE. If you have inquired at *221# just right after you
browsed, the load has yet to be updated. Normally there's a bit of delay of 5 to 10 mins. Sometimes, it would allow you to browse even if you only have a peso left but, expect your account to be blocked if your load zeroes out. Sorry i don't have nokia settings
