wala sa mobile yan, network talaga nila mahina. kung pagbabasehan sa phone /// handsets are mostly tri-band!
congested na talaga ang network at di na kaya i-handle ang traffic. ang tanungin natin yung mga bss and o&m engineers nila kung nagmomonitor ba o puro kamote sila.

sun sim ko biglang nawala yung gprs signal, di naman ako nawalan ng load.. tumawag ako sa sun, kinausap ko yung tech operations pinapareset ko yung sim ko di raw pwede.. parang sinabi nila na itapon ko na lang ang sim ko at bumili ako ng bago! syet ganda pa naman nitong #.

How to Activate your GPRS thru your Handset:
Go to "The Mall"
Click - Enter The Mall
Go to - Mall Assistant
Click - My Account
Choose - "Prepaid or Postpaid"
Go to Handset to choose which handset configuration you wish download.
Save OTA Settings (Both WAP and MMS Profiles)

Pls observe your Sun gprs signal when you move to a different part of the metropolis. Here in the Malate/Paco area (where I work), there's been no gprs signal for the whole week now. I only get a signal when I reach Pasay (specifically Buendia).
In Las Piñas, gprs signal is excellent.

Thanks for the info. It is true that GPRS signal is good in some areas. In other areas, d masyado.
According to Sun, you should refresh your phone by taking our the sim from your phone for at least 10 mins before putting it back in. This works for my phone

So going towards the north, around SM Manila/City Hall pala nagsisimulang magkaroon ng gprs signal. Wala pa ring signal dito sa Paco.
Btw, sa tapat ng PGH (Taft), laging walang GSM and gprs signal kahit noong-noon pa. Dead spot dun.
