Java would be nice but the phone's memory will still be the same. If we could download games then the phone won't be left with much memory for anything else. Think it would be more practical to wait for the t610 with its 2mb memory. Besides, and correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the next upgrade R6B which still doesn't have those features?

@dethany Turn it on and off if that doesn't work do a hard reset. If that still doesn't work do a master reset after backing up your data. If all else fails, have your unit reflashed, you probably had a faulty upgrade

Has anybody had any problems when using HBH-20 or any other BT headsets? I had SE in the US upgrade my fw to R7 and the phone worked well till a few days ago whenever I end a call with my headset the BT indicator on the is indicating that the headset and phone is engaged but in the headset the call is terminated. And the only way to get the indicator to go back to standby is to off/on the power. I sent the phone back to SE and thay said they'll get it fixed.We shall see.

@derrick usual routine1. turn on and off,observe2. do a master reset,observe3.have unit reflashed, its under warranty.

During hang dont remove d battery coz it will cause a lot of hanging n d future, d bčst way is to press d no bottön 4 about 3 minutes and den d fon wil turn off. -based on my xperience

I went there (SM North Edsa) yesterday. I was so sad. They told me the free upgrade was only until Mar 31. They're charging it now for Php500.00

hmm...a have some stupid problem..maybe there is no problem.
in SP they had upgraded my firmware from r5a to r7a013.
LCD SW Version is still 200109110.
but in entry named customization MS is still R1A.
understand,i'm not good in english,so search this forum make me some problems..
and i don't have the entries named GPRS channel info and fading too.
in slovakia SP in ericsson and others SP they told,they are not compatible to enable this functions.they said 'we don't know what you talkin' bout.where i can find solution?
thank for accept my stupidity..
anyway new functions about MCA-25 i got../very bad zoom and "effects"/:-)

Sorry but the april15 has been canceled by SE SM north.I too did pay the php500 last march31.Anyway noted improvements frm my r5c so far:Faster menu response,slightly fast gprs access.re d camera efects,i havnt tried it cos i dnt hv an mca25.So far no hanging yet.i do hope.

The GPRS channel info can only be activated by SP's that have sufficient access rights on the EMMA server. Not all SP's have this access level so this is probably why your SP said they knew nothing of it. Try another SP but even if they do have access they are not usually very keen to activate it.
