Which is the best UK mobile phone service provider taking into account text messaging, emailing, sending photos etc and such things as cost and availability of service?

My personal opinion is that its o2 online, they are only people to give 500 messages/125MMS & 500 WAP minutes free, Call plans are cheap too.
I also think they have the best PAYG option too.

Orange coz of the fact that once ur a customer they're customer service system actually seems to work!

T-Mobile? Is that a joke entry??!?! it must be...
I was with o2 but they are crap to get new phones and launch new ideas, so i am now with Orange. They seem to have a fresh edge that no one else does. Vodafone have too much money being thrown about and are not as clued up as orange in my opinion.

I totally agree with you about T-Mobile, I had stupid bills with them and their customer service sucked especially when I wanted to upgrade.
I agree about Orange having a fresh edge too but in my opinion o2online wins as they have better value for money. My girlfriends Orange Bills are almost double what I spend on my phone a month and I use mine more than she uses hers.
My friend is on Voda and while they have a great service as in quality of connection etc I also think they are v. expensive.
It has to come down between O2online & Orange. Voda is a maybe but T-Mobile is a definate no!

Well I've been with vodafone for the past three years but I've just switched to orange (with P800) and so far I've been very impressed indeed. Customer service is excellent and I like the way they have about 4 different numbers instead of just one number with a huge list of press 1... options. Also GPRS is the cheapest in the UK at the moment (especially the £4 a month orange access pack).

@axxxr
or whatever your name was. I have SIM cards for all these networks.
o2 is probably the best.
Also, the fact that you type all in capitals shows that you are either 13 or just simply stupid and someone whose opinion shouldn't be trusted.
Saying this though, I may be getting a Contract on Orange due to o2 seemingly not carrying Sony Ericsson anymore.
No P800 or T610.

i've been on all 4 main UK networks and i can honestly say Orange has easily been the best. Maybe not cheapest out there but the coverage is good and customer service is second to none. T-Mobile have also got good customer service but let down by poor coverage. Don't get me started on o2 and Vodafone! They may have the best coverage but thats where the good points end.. Abysmal customer services who are at best docile, at worst thick as pig shit.. ^_^ ~Eva

Again I agree on Orange being up there with Customer service, definatly the best. Service was okay but was way too expensive!
T-Mobile customer service good? You are joking aren't you? I was on a contract with them for about 3 years and they were terrible my family is still with them and I'm on o2.
o2 customer service isn't the best but I havn't had much need for it, only to get my MMS/GPRS activated and that went smooth. I also don't think there coverage is too good like you stated but I'm willing to sacrifice it for the amount of money they save me.
