i have just realised the P800 aint got T9, how shit is that... i cant get used to having to text the long way again..
does any1 know if there is an application which could fix it?.. if it is out, or if it will ever become available..
also...
does any1 have any links to sites with free stuff on it for the P800, like backgrounds, screen savers etc...
oh yeh, is there also an option in the text to notify u if a text has been delivered or not?

You can activate T9 input by following this jog-dial and keypress sequence. You must be in flip closed mode.

yeh, i did search...
firstly i searched for T9, nothin came up... it said that the words had been omitted or summat...
so i searched 'Predictive text' under 'P800'
it directed me to a link where sum1 else was askin.....
and to my amazement, at the bottom was a post by u...
so there u go...

No t9, maybe, just maybe in a future SW update, or a third part app.
No sms delivery report, see above.

Symbian probably left off this T9 because they want people to use the mini keyboard and grafitti.
They are trying to change the way people use phones.
Because it is a smartphone not a 'normal' phone
They want you to use the diary, jotter e-mail etc as you would a pc

I was actually pissed off with the T9 absence in the beginning, but now i feel i can write a lot faster than i used to type with t9 AND i think it's fun!! but i really do think they should still add it in an update...

Its a shame you think that but it's pretty easy to find the answer to the topic. If i've p*ssed you off, I apologise.
You would understand where I am coming from if you had seen a new post on "has it got t9" or "where are the sms reports" virtually every day for the last 3 months.
Plus - this is one of those subjects which doesn't really have an answer. You know it hasn't got it, nobody here knows if it will ever be put on.
End of story.
