Vodafone vs. P800

I've had our secretary check a month ago when Vodafone in the Netherlands would start shipping the phone to business subscribers. The answer was: "we're testing the phone and would start offering it to clients only subject to a positive outcome of our testing, please call again in a month".

Well - she did call today again... and guess what: "Well, we're still busy with testing the P800, but actually the intermediary results are far from satisfactory, and it can well happen that we won't offer it to business customers at all. Please check again later."

What is your experience: is Vodafone so negative in other countries also, where the P800 was introduced before Holland?

I've been using the P800 in UK on vodafone for 6 weeks and the only problem I had was receiving MMS from vodafone live phones and even this problem has been fixed by upgrading the firmware to the latest version which is the version that appears on UK Orange phones.

@ masseur:

I appreciate it works on the Voda UK network (would be too bad if it didn't at all), my question is rather why doesn't Vodafone position/promote the P800 as a mobile device for businessmen, but rather chooses to position it as a multimedia device?

Is it not stable / durable / reliable enough? What's the problem?

I have a p800 on vodafone here in the netherlands and I must say I haven't experienced any "big'" problems. Everything works mms, gprs, e-mail etc. so if you asking me I don't see any problem why the shouldn't introduce the p800 officialy on vodafone.
