Using mIRC client on a GPRS connection

Hi,

I have a GPRS internet connection.
I use it from Windows XP, i have a datacable for an Ericsson R600.

I can't connect to IRC using mIRC from my desktop when I am connected by GPRS.
Also I can't use Yahoo Messenger, FTP, ICQ, etc ... only browsing.
I do have a port 80 proxy my operator gave me to use for surfing but it fails when i try to use it in mIRC.

My operator is : Orange Romania
Phone : Ericsson R600

u should configure mirc with the proxy settings.

Lame signature ;p But still. Have you tried using the IP of the server your trying to connect your mIRC too? Sometimes the DNS system is quite f**cked up ;p

I think there is only a problem of configuration!
