Esato was founded in the year 2001 and was mainly targeted at Sony Ericsson mobile phone users. We started with a couple of services offering free ringtones, grayscale logos for the Ericsson T39 and R520 models. We have expanded the service to include free color backgrounds for over 50 mobile phone models. Other popular services are the discussion forum for anyone interested in topics about mobile phones and accessories. Even if the focus was targeted at Sony Ericsson owners, we now have separate forums for owners of other brands. The most popular sections are the News, Blog, discussion forum, Free themes, free color backgrounds and a service where users can upload images from a PC and download a converted image down to their mobile phone.

In their defense the 805,doesn't provide such a big bump in performance over the 801,plus it doesn't come with built-in cellular. So,the 801 is a logical decision. What I would like to see from Sony in the future is going with more custom chipsets rather than the mass-market Snapdragon solutions. They could have worked out a solution with Mediatek, the MT6595 looks really promising. And if they're afraid to use such chipset on a high-end device, they could try doing it on mid-range device. In my opinion, what Sony Mobile is missing these days is killer mid-range(200E-400E) devices. That was Sony Ericsson's/Sony's real strength.Had Sony released a Xperia Z refresh with a slimmer body,Snapdragon 800 processor,IPS display and a price between 300-400euros they would have a killer device in their hands that could co-exist with the Xperia Z1 and not replace it and make it obsolete like the Xperia Z2 did.It might sound stupid,(since I think he was responsible for SE downfall),but sometimes I really miss Miles Flint and his mid-range phone strategy (k700,k750,k800,k810,w910).

Posted by Felimenta97
If Sony is struggling with mid range software updates (cough cough SP cough cough), I don't think they will do much better with MediaTek processors.

Posted by Gitaroo
There is no room for mid end phone with garbage spec like t3when there are stuffs like one plus one and nexus being around. Not to mention they are cheaper. Even sony flagship now with z3 looks like joke compare to the others. If the z3 camera quality doesn't blow the competition away, they cam basically pack up and go home.

Great find!

Snipped before they fix it.

Marketing by easter eggs?

Posted by josephnero
One thing I don't like about Sony product pages is that they use exact same words for every product.i wish they somehow differenated between Z2 and C3 ' T3 or E1 screen technology description

^Hope they do stay with 720p display and some how manage to squeeze in a 2800mAh battery the performance would be great and could even top some of the other flagships in endurance.

Posted by ascariss
I don't understand why Sony and other manufacturers maintain 16GB internal memory wtf come on. I know there are SD cards, but then provide a move to SD option, otherwise include 32GB as well option. Frustrating.

"Full Spec Sheet Leaked" "Exclusive"
Way to get attention, he only did a compilation.

Z3 tablet
Z3
Z3 compact

Posted by XperiaJunkie
^Yeah I seen that, wonder if the Smartwatch 3 isn't going to be unveiled along with the 3 that we know about.

Posted by Ricky D
I thought we already knew there'd be 3 devices?

Z3
Z3C
Z3 Tablet Compact

Is there a roundup of details for Z3X? Is it real? Is it the compact tablet?

It certainly doesn't seem to be making an appearance at IFA.

Posted by goldenface
I hope the new Smartwatch will make an appearance. An integrated Smartband / Watch will be on my shopping list for sure.

There's also the possibility of the QX30 Smartlens being announced as there as been a few rumors about that too.

It will be announced, along with the ILCE-QX1.

Using the specs from here
http://www.gsmarena.com/tenaa[....]_xperia_z3_specs-news-9417.php

and the teaser image from the video....a rough ROUGH estimate of the size of the z3 tab compact would be

116.8 mm x 190-195 mm (can't see how far the bottom goes to), I feel the size is misleading from the image but still was worth a shot. Comparing other tabs, sam tab 4 8in 210 x 124 mm, tab 4 7in 186.9 x 107.9 mm, tab s 8.4 212.8 x 125.6 mm. LG pad 8.3 is 216.8 x 126.5 mm.

Could the first teaser trailer be giving info on the Z3 Compact Tablet ?
07:MM:06:14 = 7 Milimeters
8C:u:1:28:00 = 8 inch display
03:06:H2:00 = H20 is water for waterproof
03:SE:PT:14 = Obviously 03 September 2014

Just a hunch but you never know.

The things that are highlighted are 7mm, Cu, H20 and Sept, other numbers could mean anything and are open to a wide interpretation. Regardless, the small tablet size looks good so far.

8C:u:1:28:00
03:06:H2:00

My guess...

1. 7mm thickness ( Their 6 Devices will be around 7mm slim in 2014 )
2. 8" Z3 Tablet Compact, microSD card up to 128GB
3. 3 Devices will be IP65&68 Certified Waterproof
4. 3 September 2014

@nodarsixar If you're right about the 7" inch screen size JDI have a 7" inch display which is 1200x1920 (same as the Tablet Z2) resoloution giving 323PPI which for a 7" inch tablet is more than ample for most people.

Or
7mm, 6.14 inch
8 Curved lens camera, ISO12800
3 devices, 6 accessories , waterproof
03.09.2014
Z3X?

:D

Posted by itsjustJOH
I guess 8c = 8 MP camera

OR, since it's written as Cu, it could have something about copper? Dunno.

^ Copper will be the most logical explanation because they highlight Cu. If not, what could it be???

Posted by itsjustJOH
Weird to use copper as a material. Another theory is that it's Cu for curved. 1 week more, still no other rumors. Oh what could Sony have under that sleeve?

Posted by goldenface
It would be nice if the curved sensor popped up.

Posted by ascariss
Not sure how copper could be used, it is a soft metal and I feel would scratch easily.

I'm sure there will be leaks before the debut.

Posted by XperiaJunkie
As much as I would love to see the Z3 with the curved sensor I don't think we'll see it until next year. Anyway here are the specs of that sensor in a link if anyone can find a match them with the code what Sony used in the teaser trailer.

07:MM:06:14
8C:u:1:28:00
03:06:H2:00
03:SE:PT:14

So. In my opinion, each highlighted section is a different piece of information.

7mm is quite obvious - the thickness of one or all of the devices.

06:14 - looks to me like 6.14" screen, a size that has been used before by Sony.

8 ..inch - the size of the other device we know is a mini tablet.

Cu - this is cryptic. It would seem by the case that this is copper. Maybe not in the design of the outer but as heat dissipation?? Or perhaps related to the new battery tech they've managed to produce? Copper itself tends to age badly so is unlikely to be used directly as a outer material, but maybe copper is the touted new colour? EDIT: just read Dacha's post above. faceplam.

1:28:00 - 1280 pixels is what I immediately thought of. In the 1280x800 range of 8 inchers we have Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy Tab 3 8. in the 1920x1280 range we have LG G Pad, Kindle Fire HD.

03:06 - 306g is not an unreasonable weight for an 8inch device. Correct me if I'm wrong, but would it make it lightest in it's class from all major global manufacturers?

H2O - obviously waterproof

3rd September - finally the least cryptic is the date of the announcement.

I'm open to persuasion on my interpretation, but these figures seem acceptable.

Great way to stir up interest in their announcement either way.

8C:u:1:28:00
Could this not be to do with the display
8C = 8" inch compact
1:28:00 = 1:2800 as a contrast ratio

Which would be insane as the Z1c has a contrast ratio of 1:1819 however JDI started mass production of the IPS-Neo displays which increase the contrast and offer even better viewing angles over regular IPS displays.

Interesting.

I do hope Sony does more teasers, give more clues every video.

Posted by Enci1983
I think I got it. This is the first teaser, the first models teaser, wich will be 7mm slim, it'll have 8 inch display and of course H2O wich is water, that the phone/phablet/tablet whatever will be IP Certified.

Over on ePrice.com.tw they have tried to guess what the clues mean as well how ever they have been told by someone in the know (who has provided accurate info before) that new 2 new colour options will be available and they are gold and blue, I know a gold colour was mentioned a few paged back but I'd love a blue Xperia Z3 Compact

here is the link with the info

I'm sure that the hints means:
7:mm = 8.2 (z2) - 0.7 = 7.5mm of z3
6.14 = can only mean z3tc thickness. as 8" tab with plenty of surface sony can shrink its profile a lot as they did with z2t and z ultra. besides, why would they make 6.14" display mini tab? it would be too small and it being z3x won't happen this year because we know a phablet will only come next year.
8 = 8" display size of the z3tc
Cu = copper coating for the front and back glass of the 3 devices. i hope this will turn out to be something that works unlike the annoying shatter film
1:28:00 = display resolution of z3tc
306 = 306g of z3tc
h2 = ip69 of all devices
03:SE:PT:14 = date

almost all the hints are directed to z3tc as it is a new device in the xperia line. finally a mini tab from sony.
i'm excited and curious to see how the 3 devices will turn out to be. can't wait for ifa.

Posted by king-james
^
Me too... I think all hints going to the 8" Z3 Comblet.

For the first time IMO the IFA is the most excited Event of the year. So many new devices...

Posted by Felimenta97
Can we just stop speculating the text and start trying to get the details in the rest of the video?

They say: "It's tame". Maybe it's something different from the competition, as off now? Maybe something still under cover?

"You gotta see this". Not too much to say from.

Then two other things I couldn't understand.

"Keeps going". Maybe a super good battery life? New technology (either hardware and/or software?), probably.

Opinions?

Posted by Ricky D
it's time - time referencing a smartwatch

you gotta see this - ...the viewing angles are improved

Posted by Ricky D
There's a lot of visual references to the number 3 - Either Z3 or 3 devices or both.

I think there is a fashion link somewhere due to a tweet from a School of fashion for #XperiaDetails and the oriental girl in a textiles shop.

Can't wait to see high res press shots from the Z3.

I have to admit that I was very sceptical about it but if the speakers are a lot better than on the Z2 than I will buy the Z3 for sure.

No QHD-insanity, big battery, hopefully a better camera (software) and decent design.
Although I was looking forward to see a new Design - this could be my next device.
