New stuff is great and getting things for free makes them even better. Sony is offering customers just such an opportunity although you'll have to buy one of their new W9 or W8 Bravia TVs to qualify for a gratis Xperia Z or L smartphone.
The offer opens tomorrow (23rd May) and is available from Sony centres, John Lewis, Currys and other 'select retailers'.
Obviously Sony is keen to tout the capabilities of both devices and they're sure to play nice thanks to their Android app and the fact both support NFC. the TV does it through an embedded simple remote. Once (NF) communications are setablished between the two, you can then upload content directly onto your BRAVIA TV by ‘mirroring’ your phone onto your BRAVIA – allowing you to enjoy photos, music and apps on the big screen.
The flagship Xperia Z smartphone has all the specifications expected from a premium smartphone, including: a 5” full HD 1080p Reality Display, sleek design with water and dust resistance, 13 megapixel fast-capture camera and 4G LTE.
The BRAVIA W9 incorporates a TRILUMINOS display, LED backlighting and the latest X-Reality PRO engine.
This offer is only applicable to the 55-inch and 46-inch screen sizes of the BRAVIA W9 but the offer also extends to the BRAVIA W8 and the Xperia L series smartphone and is available on the 47-inch and 55-inch screen sizes.
