GD87 Infra red problem - Esato archive

I have a GD87 and a Compaq IPAQ and I'm having problems getting the two to talk via IR. I can send files from the GD87 to the IPAQ no problem, but the GD87 will not receive anything from the IPAQ. Anybody any idea why this might be, and what I could do to sort it?

Using IR seems to about the easiest, quickest and cheapest way to get files from my PC to my phone.

Also, has anyone had any problems getting your VodafoneMail account WAP enabled, I keep trying to get it done but it keeps coming up as Internal Error, please try later.
