Media & Music Manage Software

I'm very curious ...

Which music management software do you use on your PC, and why have you chosen it? How does it benefit you and your smartphone of choice?

The reason I ask is because I've used iTunes for far too long, I cannot stand this latest version on Windows 7 (I no longer own a Mac and question if I ever will again). I'll need to a good solid Music or all-in-one media software tool in order to sync with my Optimus G and future Android (or BB10 possible) devices. I use VLC for video playback yet I don't use its playlist feature for it. I'd also like a good music software that'll properly sync by Genre, Playlists, Albums/Songs of choice with a good UI layout.

I've tried:
Media Monkey 3x (twice in the last 3mths, once 2yrs ago each time I've quickly uninstalled in less than 2days)
Windows Media Player ... much better UI and could be an all-in-one media solution for organization but synching with pictures/video along with music??
