I have a P1i and I configured my office emails (the email server goes through Gmail) to download into my phone. It downloads quite alright but I have come to notice that after about an hour when it wants to download again my already downloaded mails get wiped out from my inbox in the phone and replaced with the new download. Has anyone had this type of problem before.
Also I noticed that when my phone is carrying out its scheduled download the call barred symbol comes on and i cannot receive any calls for about 10mins. Can anyone help me out here, i am kinda desperate. thanks

I still use my P1i to this day and I also use gmail on my phone. I do not experience any of those issues with my phone, the previously downloaded emails do not get wiped out but the new one are added onto the old ones. I also don't have the problem of being unable to receive when the phone is downloading, in fact the call barred symbol never shows up.
What are your email configurations?
