More photos of the upcoming 1.5 dual core Android smartphone from Sony Ericsson has leaked
Esato News
Someone at an Israel forum had the chance to play with the unannounced Sony (Ericsson) Xperia Nozomi. It's the first time we see the phone in daylight conditions and the Samsung Galaxy S did a pretty good job in capturing these spy shots.
So far, we are pretty sure that The Nozomi LT26i will have a 12 megapixel CMOS Exmor R sensor from Sony. And as you can see from one of the screen shots further down, the Android smartphone has 691MB memory available. Probably has 1GB in total. At this stage in development, the phone is running on Android 2.3.5 which isn't surprising as Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) source code not has been released by Google yet. It is interesting to see the LED lighted hardware keys below the display.
It is hard to see from the spy shots, but the device has a 720 x 1280 pixels resolution on a 4.3 inch display. That sums up to 341 PPI. The highest number we have seen so far on a smartphone. As a comparison, on second place we have 329 PPI on the iPhone 4S with its 3.5 inch display and a 640 x 960 (329 PPI) pixel resolution. We can't wait to check it out if this phone makes it to the market.
The Nozomi will be Sony Ericssons fastest smartphone to this date powered by a 1.5 GHz dual core processor.
It looks like Sony Ericsson has gone away from the Human Curvature design philosophy, as this model are quite rectangular.

Wow would love to see that screen & great specs too!!

Hope processor for this model built on 32/28nm manufacturing process so at least it can safe some battery as SE always come with the smallest capacity battery in it class.

from the front it looks like squarish...but I still feel it is a curvature design looking from the side.

Yes, I too wouldn't say that the human curvature has been abandoned altogether.
The screen and camera are showing great potential.

Sadly it is 45nm Qualcomm MSM8260 known from benchmark tests.

Oh.. Come on. Still
missing xenon.

Seems to be the norm now for most manufacturers. Fitting more & more features into ever increasing thinner devices which people seem to want now.

Nice specs. Now only if it comes out soon!
I like the Human Curvature design though.

I like the blue LED's around the bottom at the back!!

I wouldnt say its a pretty handset myself, i prefer how the Arc looks.

I wonder what the thickness is??

I don't see any volume or camera buttons on the sides.
Posted by Bonovox
Yeah,it seems phones become so thin they cannot fit them.

Will this device have Sony Ericsson name on it or Sony??

I have this idea (probably should keep it to myself because it could be worth a lot
If this matches the rumours that it will have a micro SIM and no SD card support, maybe it wont have a removable battery cover?
Posted by Bonovox
Why no SD card support??

@adsada
I wouldn't rule such control out. All that may be required is some sort of feature activation so that multi finger control would be enabled.

there should be volume controls and camera shutter button i feel.. I see there's no sign of 3.5mm jack so is there no 3.5mm. We can't confirm until we see the sides
Is there a volume control like in mw600?

I doubt that any manufacturer would be that stupid as to not include a 3.5mm audio Jack.

There's always the possibility that the area under the light strip is a removable cap that provides access to the SIM/microSD/battery K850-style.

Any manufacturer but SE! They always screw up somewhere. Honestly, though, even with their suspicious track record I doubt they would leave out the 3.5mm audio jack.
I am beginning to like this design, there's something about that LED strip that makes me think it will serve beautifully as a notification light. Perfect for a phone that is lying face down on a surface.
I am waiting to see the rest of the phone and specs.
