Hi everyone!
Friend has some money to burn....and wants a cool but very useful gadget!
So....What would you buy if you had 1500 pounds to spend...
She doesn't want laptop as she has a MacBook Pro and she uses a Samsung S Android phone.
Just throw in your suggestions!
I think she should buy me a ticket to Japan and come with me,,,,,,,

With £1500 you won't come far in Japan.
Let him buy a piano-keyboard. With garageband on his Mac he can make music and discover a whole new side of him, or her if he is a she.

so instead I would get a holiday in Japan Although Japan is one of the most expensive countries on earth. Maybe she'll need £15,000

Easy for me to guide her in Japan so £1500 would give her a very good 2 week trip. I have been 16 times now!
She is not music with instruments but she can sing!
Thanks!! Mac accessory such as a time machine is a very good suggestion and makes me think of other Mac accessories.
Galaxy S II in White is cool, but I doubt that she sees the need to upgrade.
I had a thought about iPad 3 sometime next year or clamshell android Sony P and will suggest those.. Guess Sony P should be soon but she might want 32 gb with 3G and WiFi, and don't think the Sony P will come with those specs...
Any more ideas welcomed!

If I were her, I'd join you in your trip to Japan, considering, what an interesting country Japan is and how well you know it, this could be a holiday she'd never forget.
Getting to know new people and learning about their culture is more interesting, than buying another gadget, as she already has a decent laptop and phone.
But that's my opininion

Trip to Japan and you're in gadget heaven anyway. I love the Japs they are amazing clever people. Only the Japs could keep buildings standing in Tokyo during a massive quake. Genius.

she has decided! We go to China in May for 2 weeks and then onto Japan for 2 weeks!
