When I'm connected via GPRS - and the globe symbol is showing, even if it's not transmitting data, I now have a symbol showing a phone handset with a red cross through it. When I click on this, it says " Calls restricted. Calls not allowed (GPRS) .. Settings" I can not believe this implies that I can't use gprs and voice calls at the same time?? My Treo 270 had no problems with this...

I have just called my mobile, and sure enough even though it's sitting on my desk in front of me, it's diverting to voice mail...

Help...

If you talking about an Ericsson or SE phone like T68, could it be caused by the ´Allow Calls´ setting in your Gprs data account?

sorry, it's a P800 .. and i don't think it has that option to check/uncheck.?

when i want to make a call while on gprs it says "this option will cancel gprs"... dont know about callING tho ..

just spoke with SE support, and apparently you can NOT use GPRS and GSM at the same time... bizarre step backwards...

I had earlier same problem but now there is no problem. Go to internet settings and then go to (in swedish Annat) guess in english Other and there you choose auto or gsm. I got my problem when I had it on Gprs.

Thanks a lot! It worked! Just put the settings to Automatic and not GPRS! Then your phone is able to recieve calls when you are on GPRS!

So whats the deal with SEs huge step backwards saying you can't use GSM and GPRS at the same time? Maybe they meant GSM as in WAP/data calls? Huh. Weird... Nevermind. Its working for me

P800 w/ 02UK PAYG Online SIM
Utilising proxy port 8080. Free GPRS. mwa

I'm surprised 02 havnt blocked it off, and also quite weirded out by the fact that some people have been told to use this port by 02 over the phone when having GPRS problems... 02 staff telling you to get free GPRS? Or maybe the staff use this themselves so don't want it change? Either way. *rubs hands like Mr. Burns* excellllllent.
