Following the launch of the iPhone 4S in the UK on Tuesday 4 October Apple has confirmed the iPhone 4S price structure in the UK when it is released on the 14 October.
The entry-level 16GB model will cost £499 and be available in black or white. Pay £599 and you'll get the 32GB model and if you are happy to spend a whopping £699 you will get the new 64GB version

I was expecting £649 for the 64gb, especially when there is only £70 difference between the 32gb and 64gb ipad 2

I was expecting a considerable price drop for these considering they are just a updated older model so a £399 starting point for the 16GB would have been more appropriate .

I must be naive, because i was expecting the 64gb model to be no more than £550 including vat.
Ive seen new 3D TVs for less than £699 !!

The worst thing about this is that because it is an Apple phone, those prices will NOT drop at all until Apple decide it! You frankly have to a total mugg to spend £700 on a phone, you may as well buy a Tag Huer phone...

I know I can pick up a brand new 40" LED TV Smart Internet TV for £500 and considering the $Billions Apple makes in profits they could easily sustain a price reduction
