C905 Help! Broken Video (

I have a C905 and it was working great until the "video" button broke (the physical button attached to the side of the board broke). My camera app still works great for taking pictures, but I can no longer select video. I'm looking for DETAILED instructions on how to 1: install a new camera application that can record video... or 2: modify my current camera application to make another button the "video" button. Any help is greatly appreciated!
