For those of you who placed an order in the US from SE Eshop for the p800 for $649, please post all your info here if you hear anything new... I've been waiting and trying to get an exact date or a more precise date on when they will have the phones ready to ship here in the US... I placed my order on the 6th of this month... what about the rest of you guys... I hope my order is part of the 1st shipment of p800's that are arriving to the US, the 2nd shipment of p800s i heard will be on Feb 24th... don't know how true all this info is... just hoping...

Yeh but you can save like $100 from ebay, and you wont have to be waiting, i'm sure as long as u make sure you go with a safe seller it's kool. Plus you wont have to wait quite as long, only snag is it will be a foreign unit and i'm not so sure about the warranty situation in the uk,

I suppose, i've had about 15 transactions on ebay, all gone through fine and very quickly, i allways make sure to check out my sellers tho, It's really hard to avoid ebay though because the prices seem so good.

well yeh, butyou can allways use safer services on ebay for example there is ecrow, and it's not that expensive to use... You can also get imports from some shops that will give it you there and then, there must be some good companies in the US that will sell you imports, i know in the UK we have few, just prices are a bit high.

i agree, thats why i'm waiting for the release but i'm also getting sick of waiting for it. why the hell is it taking so long? its only a god damn phone!!!! the have factories set up to do this, they have demanding customers who want it, what the f**k else are they doing?!?!?! and for the love of god next time don't tell us about the phone until the day before its actually released so that people don't get all crazy over it.

Just called SE e-shop (2-18-2003 @ 2 pm). Now I know they have no clue what is going on. I am like order 210. Best estimate I could get was end of March. Anyone know what is holding them up? What major problems are they trying to resolve? I don't want to pay to be a BETA tester.
Also, they can't seem to fax me the required signature verification form. Anyone else have problems here.
I pre ordered this phone from Expansys last August! Cancelled that order and went direct. Either way, I have a feeling that I am not going to see this phone for a long time.

Ordered mine yesterday and the rep told me that the first shipment will be arriving on Feb 24th and the next on March 15th. But as we know we cant trust what a rep tell us so we just have to wait.
