Not very helpful mate you need to tell us what you want in a phone and your budget

Indeed, there is no such thing as "the best phone" in general, it's personal, the "best phone" for you might be useless to me, etc.

its joke to ask someone to "tell me best SE phone"
what your budget ?
do you need good camera quality ?
do you need tuch screen ?
do you need GPS ?
I sold my elm and now I need to buy new phone. C901 was my nex phone, but C901 not available anymore (in my country)
Next alternative phone is C905. lot of issues, camera quality isn't good as C901...

I having two SE phones now, The everyday phone X10 Mini and and the back-up/internet access for a EeePC Netbook J20(i) Hazel
X10 Mini alias E10(i or a) is a great phone but having a very small screen (smallest among all smartphones) and limited battery life between charges, got mine upgraded to Android 2.1.
Have had since the launching day i May 2010 and still having no scratches on the screen.
The only thing I would want it to do that I been failing. is to get it to share it's Internet connection with two or more comps
The Hazel J20 (i or a depending on which continent you are)
The Hazel is a normal phone but with a lot of goodies stuffed into it. Good camera and GPS.
A smartphone in disguise sort of.
My suggestion is X10 Mini,Hazel or wait till the spring when new SE comes out

best sony ericsson phone currently available is x10, and i think he means the best out of se's current portfolio. Arc is a better choice tho so wait for it or some new products to be announced at mwc..

Sounds good, is the X10 fairly easy to use for someone not so technologically savvy?

I'm willing to spend around $700 USD and I wouldn't mind a touch screen, GPS and a good camera. Also, I want something easy to use as I'm not that tech savvy. What would you suggest then?

If you are still able to wait a bit longer you might want to consider checking either the Xperia Arc or the Xperia Play. Both very promising new phones and highly anticipated too

Xperia Pro is the best choice for me. You still have all the goodies of the Arc with a sliding qwerty keyboard.
