I purchased this phone for my son last year so we could keep in contact when he was out with friends.
Lately there appears to be a strange thing happening where it won't receive any calls or texts unless
he rings out from the phone first. The only thing i can think of is it's going into flight mode, but I dont
think this can occur unless you do it in settings, so there's no button to be accidentally pushed for it.
Does anyone have any idea please what's happening ?

Seems like maybe the firmware/software of the phone has been corrupted. I'd probably suggest 'flashing' your phone with new firmware, i.e. reinstalling fresh firmware on the phone, only if you're up for it. It might be a little bit complicated and you may void your warranty if it's still covered by it. Then again, if you're covered by warranty I suppose just send it back tot he shop you bought it from.

Phone was bought last year. I doubt warranty still on. This seems like a bug in the firmware indeed. BUT a master reset is worth before updating/flashing the phone.
Off topic: where I work there are 2 printers like this. You need to print first in the computer it is at before other pc's can send a document to be printed.
