Few days back there was an article in our local newspaper. I find it interesting so here i am sharing it.
A Beautiful Woman Can Make A Man Fool!!! 
Men has fought many battles for women and many men has lost everything for women. Despite of this, in our routine life as well men lost his rational sense and intellect on seeing attractive female - Recent survey.
Females know this for ages but now psychologists are trying to understand this. One glimpse of a beautiful women can fool a man. After seeing her, men takes senseless decisions for some time. This is derived from one survey conducted by psychologists of MacMaster University, Canada.
'New Scientist' magazine said, beautiful women destroy the ability of men to think of his future. In science, it is called 'Discounting The Future'. This means you let go your long term big profit for short term gains.
For example, if somebody gives you £100 now and the same amount after 5 years. What would you choose? Obviously you would choose to have money right now rather than waiting for 5 years because there is no point in waiting. But if the offer is either take £100 today or take £500 after 5 years. What would you do? Mostly we would wait for 5 years as today none goverment or bank doubles the money in 5 years.
This kind of behaviour is called 'Rational Discounting'. But if you take £100 today, it would be irrational calculation. This kind of behaviour is very normal but when a men is opposite attracted or in sexual mood, will he take same decision? Psychologists Margo Wilson and Martin Dale from MacMaster University, has taken a survey to know this. They have taken 209 male-female subjects and showed them opposite sex's attractive and non-attractive pictures. They have setup a platform where they can win easily.
After winning, they were told, either you take your winning price of £50 today or wait for 3 months and take £100. Today no bank around the world doubles your money in 3 months so it was expected that everybody would wait for 3 months but the opposite of it had happened. Those men who had seen an average looking girl's picture, had taken rational decision and waited for 3 months. But those who had seen very beautiful and attractive girl's picture, had lost their sense and taken irrational decision. They have let go the future profit and taken £50 immediately. This means after seeing beautiful women, there are more chances that men take weak and foolish decisions. Though for women, no difference was observed. After seeing attractive or non-attractive men's pictures, there was no difference in women's decision. In other words, after seeing very handsome male's picture, they took the decision that gave them more profit. Why is this difference in men and women's nature?? Margo wilson and Martin Dale said, 'We dont know the exact reason behind this but one possibility is that after seeing an attractive women, men get excited. If this is true then the mechanism of sexual possibility in nervous system of men gets activated highly. Tomos Pizari, human-revolution biologist from Leeds University, explains another reason for this. He said, if men gets very beautiful women instead of an average looking women, he would get ready to take more risk. The findings of Tomos Pizari's survey is included in famous magazine 'Biology Letters'. So the thing which is already known around the world is now confirmed by the scientists. On seeing a beautiful women, men become fool and take weak decisions. Like said earlier, women know this very well.

I wonder if the sexuality of the candidates was asked?
Also it be interesting to see what would happen if the same was done with a sample of gay men and lesbian women.

totally agreed with this research... but again, it depends on the eye of the beholder... sometimes, i mesmerize with an average girl depending on her attitude... but i make sure that the girl is cute...
