I dont get it either, on their twitter they say big news is coming at mwc and have a link to the facebook xperia play section. Either they are just stupid or they really have something up their sleeves.

Where is MINI 2/Mini2 pro???

Posted by motvikt
Its so depressing to see this concept. Very similar to the UIQ concept. THIS should be timescape. Timescape got to be the lamest thing ever. Not very practical at all..

http://phandroid.com/2011/02/[....]tering-home-replacement-video/

Looks at the filtering function in contacts. So cool! And SE had this concept years ago. Wasted potential

edit. The UIQ concept:

Would be nice if they announce that the Arc is shipping at the end of this month. My hands are itching for it and I don't care if they announce a superphone on Sunday.

I am waiting for SE to make an announcement so I can get a better idea. The UK seems to be listed for the 1st of April while Sweden has the 22nd of March. So, until an announcement different regions will have their own dates but surely with announcement a much better and clearer availability schedule will emerge.

Lucky you!

You get a great birthday gift from SE in the process, assuming you decide on this and not the Play.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo vs HTC Desire

SOURCE

Posted by mediar
so Neo's screen is bigger than Desire's? It seems that Neo really has 4.0 inch screen.

This comparison is quite unfair. In both pics Desire's screen is put in a better viewing angle than Neo and thus making the latter's screen look worse.

Posted by Michalis3
It looks that Neo is almost identical in size to Desire. I really hope that there will be a smaller version of Neo in the near future, keeping the same shape and appearance.

Mini2/Mini2 pro is there for smaller version...
Shape sud be similar to X10mini/pro With Larger Screen.

Mini2/Mini2 pro [Kinda Low End Market]
Neo/Neo pro=Vivaz/Vivaz Pro successor [Mid End market]

I know that, I just hope to see a Neo with 3,2 - 3,3 inch screen. That will be ideal for my taste (perhaps a Walkman logo and a dedicated audio chip as well ) .

Am afraid there wont be neo mini version..
It will confuse the customer then they wont understand what to pick..and the design will become common

Posted by ^^HAMID^^
I think mogami was the platform used on the Eldar's X12 proto and had 7230 processor

Posted by tranced
@smclion102: people need choices. There you have the X10 Mini's.

Which games would you most like to see on the Xperia™ Play?‬

Imagine you could use your mobile phone as a games console. Would you play?

they should've used it in xperia play. apparently adreno 220 GPU is miles ahead of adreno 205 GPU. so frustrating.

Benchmark is bullshit get arc

Posted by avmaxfan
This is what GSMArena had to say about the Arc compared to LG Optimus 2x and other phones like the Galaxy S.

"The Sony Ericsson XPERIA Arc offers a Bravia Mobile engine LCD of larger size and higher resolution plus Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The list of pros ends here though and you will need to wait another month or two to get that one."
