I think this is likely to be a 4.5'' screen, I highly doubt SE would go overboard and make a 5''.
Something slightly taller than the Arc with a 16mp camera, a dual core processor and Gingerbread is what I've been suspecting all along. They won't have to work that hard on the OS since it is practically ready judging by the Arc's performance even as a proto.
This would make sense as to why they leaked and announced their phones before MWC. Also, Satio was released ages ago and it actually surprises me how long it took them to come up with a successor. I guess they needed to be financially viable to come up with a very sound successor.

To me it looks like on this reflection, four icons and menu "button" in middle. I'm not talking about the phone here just the reflection of the screen part. Notice the middle/third icon don't have text under it.

but it definitely has the same design queues as the xperia play.
so could it simply be the same hardware(without sliding function) but with a different focus ? after all focusing just on gamers with one single hardware is rather narrow (and expensive)

If (and that's a big IF) it is correct that SE will launch 7 phones in 1H, maybe even even this weekend, which are they ? We have Arc, Play and Neo that we know about. Shouldn't they also have replacements for the X10 Mini and X10 Mini Pro ? That still leaves 2 more.

@tyko The clues throughout this thread and varies blogs. Listen to the people who claim to have knowledge and have proven to be right in the past and it's obvious that there's something that no-one knows about yet. Something top secret. Some have spoke about the return of a brand or something, from what people have heard there's another handset floating around somewhere. The biggest clue of them all comes from Bert himself saying there'll be a big surprise at MWC, airing an advert during the superbowl means surely that Play is NOT the big surprise. SE have also said that multi-core devices ARE on the agenda although with no time reference.
And the under wraps thing on fb is so the prize is a surprise. The handset itself I'm sure will be something we've seen already be it Play or Neo/hallon or whatever, I don't believe they would be silly as to show so much of something that is not leaked or announced.

They make it feel special or mystery to cater the millions who don't visit Esato.
Surprises on 13th Feb didn't fit to Esato/ Engadget/ Gizmodo/ Mobile-review reader since we have seen all the stuff.
sometimes it feel weird that in the thread, the remark sound as if every human being have read the leaks posted online.
I believe many out there surf for something else instead of phone so there's still a huge pollution in this planet didn't aware of Neo/ Play or even Arc!!

yes, but still, Arc has been announced, Play has basically been announced, and Neo is hardly a 'mystery'/special, even for the general public...

I still say it is a successor to Satio with a dual core processor and a 16mp camera... okay, I'll give it a rest.
I also have doubts they would tease with something that's already leaked/announced. Based on the last few MWC I don't think SE has nothing up their sleeve, they must have some show stopper hidden in their safe.
However, like >500, I wouldn't be surprised if that is Play.
