wow then you really are more deluded than i thought..... seriously from all the phones announced at CES and still being ousted day by day, you think the Arc is as good or better? i think a good few pages back i made a quick comparison between a couple of phones that were announced and how they rack upto the arc. arc was the lowest of the bunch. i cant be bothered to look up the post.

I don't see how half those phones are better than the Arc, and the other half only have dual-core over the Arc.

Really think this discussion is going to far....
Basically it boils done to the fact that some think whats on paper is more important and others are more interested in actual performance. In my opinion its similar to the performance of cars, not the one with the most HP will necessarilly be the fastest or get you where you going the quickest or even last the longest... anyway everybody body has different requirements and taste. The design of a car is also more important to some than the point whether they need 0.2 less seconds to reach 100KMH. And I am sure its an absolute mooooh point discussing matters of taste in the rumours thread...
But if you really prefer to, do go on since I find it quit amusing

You need t be specific about the markets. I don't think Motorola Atrix has been announced for Europe or Asia, they have a very small presence in those geos. Samsung 4G hasn't been announced in Europe or Asia. I happen to live in Thailand, LG told me today the 2x maybe will come in May. But it's still running 2.2. Same with Motorola Atrix. We don't know anything about the availability of the other ones that you say will be announced next week.

The satio was not a total surprise. There were rumours circulating about it although there were no leaks indeed.
SE used to "announce" flagship phones with top of the line specs like the satio for example which at its announcement made huge headlines. I don't think that they(SE) aren't aware of what's happening around the world that Lg has already announced a dual-core phone and that Samsung are prepping for a more powerful dual-core phone and that htc is preparing for some 1.2Ghz capable phone.
I believe SE will release a true flagship device some months after the Arc has its golden days. Maybe, they'll just not unveil it on MWC.

I think we are lucky to have seen quite a bit of the phones to be announced at MWC but we haven't got the full picture on all the devices. There could be more software features we don't know about like z-system, on the Play.
Thank god for sites like it.168 for supplying us with leaks, it's given us plenty to talk about.
I do hope though, that SE surprises us at MWC with something major (that hasn't been leaked), though at this stage it's not looking likely.

There are more phones like the mids and lows that won't really be headline grabbing but remember, there are supposedly two WP7 devices on 'ice' for the minute. An Android Walkman is on the cards which may be low end but I don't know. In 2010,
talked about a new naming system or branding perhaps for a range of devices. They also said they want to re-launch something or other, maybe a brand?. I don't have the sources but it does suggest that there are a few things that have not been leaked already. Some people believe that a dual core Qualcomm processor will debut in a high end HTC meaning that its available for as well. Finally, this years MWC is probably one of the most anticipated because it introduces a number of new technologies and the competition is strong, Sammy and are having press events at the same time as each other the day before. Its going down like that.

For non die hard fans who focus in searching leak. There's surprises. For us. Sure there's non. Well its very ironic. When we see no leak. We feel frustrated. When all stuff get leaked. We too feel frustrated. I hope we can see some stuff by SE showing their future stuff that integrate to smart home. Smart car and personal health. Or maybe a road map when we see a 3D camera. The Iphone 4 has a camera module from OmniVision. The next Iphone 5 will have the same 8mp module that Arc/Neo have from Sony "apparently".
Though ofcourse with 1080p video recording, unlike in Arc/Neo.

Well... If thats the case then its great for the iphoneusers. Its still just a rumour thou so I would be very careful with such info if my name was Avmaxfan. Remember what happened with Anzu. (TI OMAP4, Dualcore, Amoled, 16mp cam etc.)

had the chance to play with the xperia arc yesterday. compared to my iphone4 it feels much thinner, and it doesnt feel at all plastic that i thought it would. The screen is huge but it doesnt have the same crisp in it as the iphone4 display do. all in all its super nice, im definitately going to switch from the iphone to the arc, the UI is as smooth as on the phone and it feels really fresh!

The above news was dated October 2010 so it should be the same sensor use in Xperia Arc, right? Question is, why the Arc could not record 1080p video? It's Sony's product, why the best is given to Apple but not to SE?

It can believe new image sensor named Exmor R is capable for recording for 1080p but Processor didn't powerful enough.
