Have you tried setting auto-flash and using it in a dark room?
Take it to phone shop and them about it or send it to SESC

Use original camdriver and test flash unit in service menu. If not working, replace flash unit.

Check these settings
Menu > Camera > Settings:
Shoot mode > Normal
Scenes > Auto
Picture size > 5 MP
Focus > Auto OR Face detection
Flash > Auto
Metering mode > Normal
white balance > Auto
Effects > Off

Hi guys!!! I have tried everything but no joy!!! All the settings are correct but flash won't fire!!! Using AP2 i have changed the camdrive files to new ones and then i lose camera! Went to seus and repair it. Now camera works but no flash! The phone is unbranded,unlocked...dont know what to do. it is rather strange that once i change the camdrive i lose the camera. It opens the camera with no image and after 2/3 seconds goes back to main menu!!!
