@gonorhea good thing and the patiently waiting trick worked for you. Sorry if hindi kita na-attend kaagad. Tambak pa school works ko.
@zzzer based on my experiences, after isang oras na connection, nadidisconnect ako. Pero marereconnect ka naman ulit after 5 minutes and 10 seconds.

@stillburning using your provider's default internet settings/profiles, you have to wait at least 5 minutes and 10 seconds for you to connect to the internet for free...
@ate shana sa akin, a few minutes lang na idle ako, nad-disconnect na... (Unless kung gumagamit ka ng built-in, I guess)
anyhow, hanggang ilang MB ang na-da
-download mo? Kasi ang huling try ko, hanggang 30MB lang... Eh bulto-bultong albums ang i-d-dl ko bukas...

@boy.in.pink naku baka mahina ang signal sa inyo. anyway mas nadidisconnect pa nga yung built in ko. yesterday i was just using om and youtube app at the same time. di naman na disconnect hanggang nalowbat na lang siya. hehe
re: downloading, 75 mb pa lang nattry cu. mga ganun lang naman kc size ng album di ba? nga pala, down na ang jenpoo di ba? sa ihoneyjoo ka na ba nagddl ng kpop?

Nagtry kasi ako ng album with 100.3MB (2NE1's To Anyone album) pero napuputol siya. Ano kaya kung mag-EDGE na lang ako? Or i-disable ko 'yung HSDPA (bale 3g na lang)?

haha. toph kaya tumagal yung battery kc buong araw din ako nakacharge.
wala talagang maasahan sa battery ng pepon ko.
i think dapat iremain mo sa hsdpa. tapos lagay mo yung phone mo sa lugar sa bahay nyo o kaya sa labas na mapapansin mong mabilis yung dl speed pag nandon.. hehe. ganyan kc ginagawa ko.

Haha! Ate Cris, so do my N82's aged and bloated BP-5M battery with only 900mAh power rating. Imagine, isa't kalahating oras lang ang tinatagal ng battery na 'yun.
May naisnab akong query mo. Alam ko 'yung ihoneyjoo pero hindi pa ako nakakadownload doon dahil wala pa akong nakikitang bago sa Korean music scene after 2NE1's first album.
Thanks sa suggestion about HSDPA. Actually, noong G502 pa 'yung phone ko, hinahanap ko pa 'yang hotspot na 'yan.

Actually, a trick for Opera Mini was brewed on PinoyDen. I just can't share it yet dahil hindi pa ako nag-sa-Sun ulit and I'm lazy to check it out dahil sembreak at nag-aaral pa ako about Symbian S60. Nakakatamad!
I'll try to contact Ate Shana to ask her if she tried the trick.

I was then able to download Opera mini 4 for curve but it's not working unless wifi is active.
I don't know what to write sa TCP
