I heard from Laffen that you could reach the phonebook by put the joystick to the right and hold it there for a second. Great! So I tried to put joystick to the left - that gave me an instant reach for SMS! Valuable seconds saved!
I may have missed something here. But do you know anymore SMART shortcuts? (I know there are some standard ones...)

Actually, if you redefine your custom shortcut #1 to another command moving your joystick to the left (or left arrow in T39) then that will be the command that will be executed.
Other shortcuts?
pressing keys 2 to 9 while on standby mode will list the corresponding contacts with names starting with whatever key was pressed. (ie. pressing 3 key. will list contacts with names beginning in "d")

been using mt T68 since january, and i havent tried this only until a while ago. really smart.

AFAIK the 'right' key cannot be reassigned, it's always 'find and call'...
In the wap menu (press and hold yes) numeric shortcuts can still be used even if there is no number preceding the option. 1 suspends, 3 saves a bookmark, 5 sets current as homepage, 6 exits the brower.
