Hi all.
I got a K850 last year and had a lot of problems with it, so after many delays, is being repaired now. I did play around with firmware and drivers before though...and returned it all to original before I sent away for repair, of course! I'm about to get it back and I'm looking for ideas on the most stable versions of firmware/drivers/tips please.
My K850 problems were:
1. Frequent resetting, even on first day. Happened frequently, but not only, when listening to music. Micro SD problem?
2. Constant lag. Lagged with everything I did. Slow response to button-press.
3. Some days, that camera seemed CRAP. Take a picture in excellent lighting, and everyone's faces turned out black. I was embarrassed calling that phone mine.
4. It hated my PC - it froze my PC if I attempted to put music/video/pics on it. No matter whether drag and drop or programs like media transfer or media go.
5. Stopped mid-song frequently.
6. Deleted everything on Micro SD at least once.
7. Screen died. A faint glow of light was visible, but nothing on screen. I re-flashed all, and no use.
8. Accelerometer was a joke, slow and didn't always detect motion. My iPod made it look PATHETIC.
I'm 99% certain it was R1FA035. I got it on eBay from Hong Kong. MISTAKE! eBay community told me never buy electronics from there on eBay...many many many many dodgy seller complaints, I was told. SE just told me because it's Chinese, it was warranty only in China.I wonder if I didn't mention eBay or Hong Kong it's warranty would be valid in Europe? And I tried many of the 'best' drivers out there for cam. and sound, but all of them did something wrong...the pictures would end up black or the sound would crackle and break...
I know there's a MILLION threads out there, and I have read my fair share of them, but anything written here would be great. Copy and paste if you like, or if you can comment etc. then even better! Thanks!

OK, now I have tips for this section myself.
I HIGHLY recommend for :
- accoustics: hossam_2010_bass_loud Superb stuff, DRAMATICALLY increases and improves all sound. The quality
of the sound of your favourite song with this is very good. A number of other accoustic drivers I've tried crackled
sound at higher volumes etc. not this.
- camera: navar_k850_v92_x3_final I've actually tired other cam drivers before and many were very impressive. But
for some VERY odd reason (what's new with the K850?!) lately it's been rejecting most drivers. I've just tried Navar's
and it is LITERALLY the only mod cam driver my phone is accepting. I've tried a few settings just now and black pictures
are gone...how? Plus, I suspect that lately, the phone is rejecting the higher power requirements of other drivers, but
with Navar's, not so.
- displays: none yet. I've tried 3/4 but didn't really see a difference. I'm very grateful for all the uploads, but I personally
didn't see a difference there.
Firmware: Using R1fa035 with Adriatic FS and custom (need extra phone languages). R1fa035 was previously very reliable, with Cent. Eur/ West. Eur FS and custom, but maybe it's the mods ro the FS+Custom, but phone is VERY
buggy now...
