"actually, I've ordered something on ebay, but the payment page said, "this card number is already assigned". I do not understand at all. It just keeps saying it. I thought she might have two accounts, but she says no.

I've never seen that message but googling gives endless relsults that suggest that the card number has already been added to another paypal account.
Best advice is to get in touch with paypal ASAP in case its being used fraudulently.
perhaps she did setup a paypal account a while back and has simlpy forgotten about it?

Yes, I went straight to google and found that too...

Her classes finish at 1.00pm so I will tell her that too....
