Paid a visit to the Noel Chavasse memorial in Liverpool. He is one of only 3 men to with the Victoria Cross twice! The memorial is a well deserved recognition not only to Him but to all those that have made the ultimate sacrifice, the names of at least 16 other VC recipients from Liverpool are noted on the memorial base

Pic off my Sony A200 with 18-70 kit lens and hdr`d, i think that hdr has its uses and its good fun to try things out with, really like the effect on this image.

+1 for you mate!

Can anyone guess the bigest resolution photo ever made by stiching different photos together to make one photo?
How many mega-pixels do you reckon?

Look at this sixth month exposure, that's a long shutter speed

The largest is around about 50giga pixels taken of Dubai I believe

Posted by mriley
I've seen the one of Dubai, its impressive
The largest is a photo of Budapest made up of over 70 billion pixels or 70 gigapixels

Capt "Johnny" Walker RN memorial, Pierhead Liverpool. The scourge of the Atlantic u-boats! Looks like they have decided on were he will be, by the other memorials at the pierhead. He had been shifted around for months as the regeneration of the pierhead took place, now standing overlooking the Mersey.

Current kit.....

Sony A200 (with grip)
Sony 18-70
Tamron 70-300Di LD
Fuji S6500FD
Fuji E900

True, a camera is just a tool, but IMO, in any field, a better tool always helps you expand your creativity, efficiency, versatility and generally lets you do a better job as long as you know how to properly use it.

Posted by mriley
@blackspot
Yep, I very much aggree with you, iPhone is only good for daylight photos hence why they put 5 powerful lights around everything they shot Good funny video though

I now have this Fuji camera which has amazing low light performance I have yet to really test it. But I wanna ask if anyone knows what the best settings would be for a concert indoors?? I ask cos I have 2 concerts coming up soon Madness & Goldfrapp. Would it be sports mode I wonder??
[ This Message was edited by: Bonovox on 2010-09-22 21:20 ]

Posted by alenn
@Bono my recommend is low ISO,and yes sports mode. And if you maybe have a tripod you can get to balcony(if concert room has one)
