GPRS to connect to web??

i am really confused, can i surf on the net with my phone with GPRS?? all i know is that with GPRS you get charged per kb, and wap you get charged per minute while on the connection. man this has really bugged me.

It is WAP over CSD (Circuit Switched Data, also know as GSM data) that is charged for per second/minute.

You can also surf with WAP over GPRS (General Packet Radio Service), but unlike CSD which is time based reserves a phone line connection (like dial-up) GPRS is quantity based in that data is sent in packets and you are only charged for the packets you send/receive (in KB).
