Xperia X10 PRo

Posted by XPHCTOC
No feature phones annoucement!!!! does it mean that A200 is dead?

Posted by jack00
great show
we all love qwerty keyboards, aren't we.

the only good device is the X10 Mini - cancel all the other phones - including the X10(way too late)
the problem is that all the other devices don't have anything against their competition, not even in terms of pricing.

continuous software update

Posted by iksplusipsilon
Damn SE...
X10 Mini PRo would've been perfect for PORTRAIT/VERTICAL QWERTY (P1 style).
Missed opportunity !

the vivaz pro is quite nice actually...nice thickness, good spec, given a decent price it will rival n97 mini...the mimmi is ok,but why in the world is n95 thickness?so does robyn's thickness.

Posted by sale987
I have a problem, cant see nothing?

Posted by mobse
one more phone apparently. the webcast is ominously down...

Posted by goldenface
Let's hope there is more than one phone coming.

Posted by mallaccra
guys are you opening many tabs...

Posted by HxH
that's all and kinda disappointment, waiting for summer strike back if they have that chance

Posted by jack00
its over
Q&A currently

i would like to quote engadget here:
In response to a question about whether they'll still have three operating systems two years from now, Bert says "I think that maybe we can expect not fewer operating systems, but more" because of the push by carriers to create their own branded ecosystems. It's a pretty scary thought, we'd say.

all that according the official tweet at #MWC10SE
can't see that coming now... all that talk about smiles and not a decent applause.
the logic is there in the overall approach, but the competition is set to all but eat SE alive.
screens far too small IMHO, although the engineering feats are significant, we've got to give it to them.

Posted by synn
Let's not forget that Microsoft's announcement is tomorrow and any device with WP7 can't and won't be unveiled before that.

What webcast were you watching? I heard a fair bit of applause for the X10 mini.

Is it just me or does X10 Mino PRo's screen look rediculous when in landscape position with keyboard out?

@juris15
I give up...
As the things are going, I will be moving to HTC/Moto this year.

Actually why disappointment?

They presented few interesting, strong devices on Android & Symbian.

Indeed making their smartphone portfolio quite rich!

X2, Aspen, Satio, X10, X10 Mini, X10 Mini Pro, Vivaz, Vivaz Pro - that is 8 models,
compared to 1 or 2 few years ago.

Right direction I'd say.

Other makers are more boring

We can't count for constant groundbreaking innovation!

So now, X2 soon in my hands.

Well no big shockers but just solid devices, I can live with that. Now could we please get some lower end devices? A Vivaz lite and a X8 mini, anyone?

Posted by king-james
DISSAPOINTED!!!

Posted by HxH
maybe expectation too much, no plan to move on for now

If I could fixed for one thing X10 and Vivaz shouldn't get announce too fast before this event

i strongly agree with that, but i guess that it was more important to please shareholders then customers

My word, what a disappointment, i hope this is the worst. The X10-Mini and X10-MiniPro look like they have 2.2inch displays,i hope im wrong. Overall a complete waste of time.
Kind of like Vivaz Pro, was it laughter i heard when he announced the X10-MiniPRO by the way?
Goodluck to SE.

X10 mini/pro screens are 2.55".

RRP in Germany are as following: X10 mini 319€, X10 mini pro 349€, Vivaz Pro 449€.

@GUCCI
Yes, this was a real "Son, I am disappoint." event...

Posted by Tsepz_GP
Oh wow, thank goodness lol, i was like WTF. 2.55inch is decent for a mid-range QWERTY touchscreen, any P1 owners tempted by the X10-MiniPRO? Looks like a nice replacement.
Theos
indeed, after the X10 and Vivaz i was expecting big things eg. A Symbian^3 device, a Aino type device, the X10-Mini and just something mind blowing, ah well.

319€ is really fair and could make the X10mini a good seller for sony ericsson. it really reminds me on the neonode, i kinda like it - we will see if it can hold against the others.

@doministry: what where those groundbreaking innovations ? only tell me one, and i'm satisfied

Well at least Satio -> 12 Mpx, WM and than Android devices.

I meant - cannot expect new new new all the time.

Posted by mobse
this could be something to look forward to in the WM segment of the range

Sony Ericsson To Pre-Load Gokivo Navigator Onto New Windows Mobile Handsets
http://www.mobilecrunch.com/2[....]-mobile-handsets/?preview=true

Posted by jack00
but thats the problem, there has never been anything new in the last couple of years
there were no groundbreaking devices, no groundbreaking innovations

Satio was hardly anything groundbreaking, it doesn't take alot to bump up some megapixels
X1 & X2 were and are far behind their competition
Android devices ... well there still is no se android on the market

Posted by anders260
positive is that we now have more SE phones with Android, i very confident now regarding upgrades to 2,1 etc...

X10 release date is still only "March" i want it now

Sorry mate but you say crap.

X1 was actually absolutely ahead of any competition when it was launched,
so better polish your memory a bit.
