If in fact this is the X10 successor, I'm a bit disappointed. I was hoping for a different design than this year's models. Though, when I first saw pics of Vivaz in the wild, I thought it was really ugly. I changed my mind after announcement and upon seeing official pics. So, let's hope for the best!

The button order at the bottom is like the proto versions of the X10. In fact that looks very much like an X10 proto that has a 2.1 update on it.

We can't expect it runs Eclair in its retail state. Also, we know
doesn't have Froyo and that's why we don't see it in this photo. Later we'll maybe see another photo saying 2.3.

Meeting with Sony Ericsson. They put on table 7 devices for the first half of 2011. I like only one of them. X12. More info later
Most handset based on Android. Own UI and again old versions of OS. X12 running 2.1 now. Have to be 3.0. A few handset like yendo 06.2011
Anzu is X12 as far as I know. Commercial numbers is under question now.

According to a few people here anzu is the phone with the same specs as the psp phone with a variable 800-1000 mhz proccy. That isnt too high end. Whereas clario was supposed to be the one with an OMAP4xxx proccy. Which is the X10 successor?

Eldar met the guys at SE who showed him all the devices lines up so that he could leak them all. Why do i find it hard to believe? And the fact that the whole thing came right after the anzu leak is also something that is extremely fishy

4.3 inch is not as huge as it sounds. am sure many people here will agree with me on that(those that have tried using the current 4+ inch handsets out there). can't see myself using anything smaller now actually. i say thumbs up on the large screen

The phone is an early prototype currently running Android 2.1, but will use Android Gingerbread on retail launch. Even in its current state the phone is said to be very fast (no idea of CPU or RAM for now) but it will record at 1080 resolution and come equipped with a front-facing camera and HDMI port.
As you can see from the pictures below, the handset is very slim (thinner than the Galaxy S) and feels “very solid” in the hand. The display was also given particular credit with “very crisp” and “vivid colours”. There’s no idea what kind of display it is using, but let’s at least hope SE has implemented multi-touch this time.
Interestingly, our tipster goes on to say that the phone may be branded as a BRAVIA phone instead of XPERIA, which would certainly be a departure. Current Xperia X10 owners will be glad to hear that the loudspeaker and in-ear performance of the ANZU is much clearer/louder than the X10.

I think X10's design was way better. This phone is very ugly, and its screen isn't correctly aligned ( the empty space at the top is much bigger that the one at the bottom ). But lets what the official announcement.

You can also include the processor in there, as it is said to do 1080p the current crop of snapdragon processors cannot manage 1080p, the next generation 1.5ghz snapdragon (1.2ghz as well) are capable of it though they are not yet.
That leaves the TI OMAP 4440 which supports 1080p encode/decode and camera resolution UPTO 20 megapixels

Ok I hope people don't start flaming me for this but I believe that Anzu and Cliaro are two different devices, even though anzu also shares some of the specs like cliaro like Hdmi, Full Hd video recording, slim design. I dunno, I can comment only when the full specs of Anzu are revealed.
EDIT: Do keep in mind that I had updated on the Xenon and 16 mp part only a few weeks back. And these photos might not be very recent pics, the source mentions that this is indeed pictures of an EARLY prototype. Maybe the these pics are of the very first prototype, and not the latest under testing device.
Oh and P.S. To me personally the device looks stunning in the very first pic at the top of this page

Not two weeks actually, this device was in the works since a few months now, so it could be possible that these pics are of the very first prototype from a few months back.
The change in Camera module was after Sony announcement of the 16mp sensor I believe. And xenon flash was added to the 16mp module, it was not the part of early specs I mentioned.
And nope I bet this won't be branded as BRAVIA phone. The display may be branded as BRAVIA display but not the phone itself. BRAVIA line of
is for phones in Japan that support wireless TV. This phone is obviously not going to have a TV tuner or support TV features.
It will indeed be Xperia branded.

Damn, this phone looks awesome. If this thing really has a 16mp camera in it and stays this thin. I'm willing to give up my physical qwerty and get this phone, don't even mind blowing out some good money for it. Now, the only thing I'm hoping for is that this phone would have pentaband....
