Its that time of the year again when we have some fun to start us off getting in the mood for whatever celebrations each of us have around the end of the year.
Description and Rules
As we have alot of new members since Playtime!!! was last run we'll go over the rules here
One of the moderators will create a new thread at a random time and in a random forum which will have the title of Playtime!
The opening post of that thread will nominate a reply number which will be the winning reply. It will also nominate the prize to be won in that game.
Remember that the opening post in a thread is not a reply itself so the first person to post a reply after that opening post is reply number 1.
Sometimes its possible for the same member to make two or more consecutive posts (i.e. 2 or more posts in a row with no other member posting in between). If that does happen and one of those posts is in the winning position, then it will be ignored and the very next member to post after that member will become the winner. Multiple consecutive posts not in a winning position make no difference so don't worry about those, they will be counted individually to get to the winning position.
Each reply you make must be different from your last otherwise you are disqualified from that game. This stops people just pressing submit and then pressing back in the browser and pressing submit again, i.e. this slows you down a little
If you make 2 or more posts in a row (with no other member between), and one of those posts is in a winning position then you are are disqualified and the reply position after your posts then becomes the winning position with this rule then reapplying.
This year we will also limit the number of prizes won by each member to 3
Major prizes
This year we have 4 new phones!
We're going to do things a little differently this year too. Previously you earned points in each game and the one with the most points at the end of the series won the prize. This year, everyone who participates in a game gets an entry to a draw for the prizes. The more games you participate in, the more entries you get to the draw and the more chance you have to win!
For the first prize phone, we tried to find an all-rounder on a budget and so laffens contribution is a W715 which offers wifi, aGPS and a 3.2 megapixel camera. This was a vodafone only version on the V705 but the V705 didn't have the aGPS so while this will come in a Vodafone box, it is actually fully unlocked and debranded.
The second prize phone has been generously donated by Mizzle. Its a C903 which offers a 5 megapixel camera and also aGPS
The third prize phone has been generously donated by MWEB, who also donated a T250 last year. This year it's a new, sim free W610 in Orange and Black.
The fourth prize phone has been donated by Marly and is the classic K700. It is unlocked but Orange branded. Phone and accessoiries are brand new, unused, boxed with charger, unused headset, cd and booklets. It has a two-pin Euro-charger and supports the English, Danish, Dutch, French, Polish, Romanian and Slovenian language.
The draw for these phones will be done once all the smaller prizes are won

Just a quickie. Got some good news and some bad news. The good news is i've now found the spare earbuds for the hpm-77's i've donated. The bad news is the missus had forgot i'd put the ICE-45 case in and she's given it to a collegue she works with so unfortunately I can't include it anymore.
