Yes on your 6600 s60v2 os7, ip trick does not work on om4.2 but there is an exemption use om2.06 and om3.12, ip trick is working 'cause you can define the ip within the application. For java setting on S60v2 os7 uses only the apn, for S60v2-v5 os8-os9 ip trick is working, for s40 use prov file to enable ip trick.

Strange enough, Opera 2.06, Opera 4.2, Opera 5 beta, and Bolt 1.50 all work perfectly free on my Nokia N81! It has also been tested on a Nokia 3120c, a N73, 6220nav and a 3250 - AND FOR ALL OF THEM IT WORKS.
I'm just having trouble with browsing for free with my default browser.

I can only surf wap.meditel.ma but i can get access to all other sites using this trick wap.meditel.ma@www.anysite.com and it was working with om mod in lg and se but not working in any of 6600 6111 n70 and how can i get prov files

prov file are meant for s40 only.
@trick is not working on 6600 using a java app. Just what i said earlier your phone only uses the APN and your PROXY SETTING is DISREGARDED, it means that no ip no port, and that is why you Can't use @trick cause @trick only work if you have ip.
a substitute for @trick could be dot trick, since dot trick works with no ip no port.
Only os7 fon just like your phone doesnt work with @trick on java app. But on os8 like N70 @trick is working fine.

And what about nokia 6111 it an s40 v2 phone where can i get a prov file and how to make it work on 6111 please i need details cos i have a long experience with gprs but i have never heard about prov files ,and for knowledge why this my trick works with lg and se and samsung but not with nokia

Request prov file to him aloukay, state your APN and ip setting.
After you had downloaded a prov file there are still procedures to do, to make a prov file as a config setting.

Ok thanx litemnt realy apperciated so here is my setting apn:wap.meditel.maproxy:10.8.8.8port:8080 and would you pls tel me what to do next to instal prov file by the way a few moments ago i descovered that next to wap.meditel.ma@www.anysite.com trick also the trick wap.meditel.ma.t9space.com/power/s/http/www.anysite.com is also working with my operator in default browser so the @ trick and dot trick are both working for me i hope that would be useful

yes that is useful if dot trick really work, you can use your om4.2 editable server or om5 e.s.
Type this in the om server:
http://wap.meditel.ma.server4.operamini.com:80
or
http://wap.meditel.ma.t9space.com/power/s/http/server4.operamini.com:80
if still wont work then you should download a prov file and do the prov file procedures

Here's an online prov maker

for procedure
you need 2 bluetooth capable phone
cp1 = your 6111
cp2 = other phone
download the prov file from cp2
after downloading the prov send it to cp1
ex you download setting.prov to your cp2 open its bluetooth and send.
Your cp1 will recieve the setting.prov as config Setting
save, note if a message saying no app supported, ignore it just save it anyway.
Then goto menu>setting>config setting> find the prov that you had save click and choose use in all application.

But we here in Nigeria are still having problem browsing free with some nokia phones.Like Nokia 5130c-2,7210s, 3600s, 6600s.They dont seem to connect with a PROV file nd if u create an access point then u put any working Trick, it will still not work.Whats the solution to Browsing free with those above S40 phones.

@ aloakay Nokia 6111 does not make use of a .PROV FILE but rather u will need 2 create an access point.

but i know somebody who's using a 7210s working nicely, but his prov file is different, and on 3600s maybe we should ask brys if prov is working.
The prov file that you
had save, is it a single setting? Or the multiple setting like streaming, mms, im, web setting? because there is prov that has multiple setting like the one's that network gives.

n6600 is os7, the hardest os to have free internet, only dot trick works with that phone.

Oh i just tried some thing i found in some forum .all i had to do is to check additional bar and i wrot my proxy at server and porte but unfortunatly it works with just om mod 2.6 cos other mod versions doesnt support the additionale bar

Yup, you can use om2.06 because you can input ip within app, if only om4.2 has that feature.
Do you have any other setting aside from what your using? A setting that has no proxy add?
All network should provide a setting for modem.
