I'm sure they're small enough to not be seen. If it doesn't bother me, it's not a concern

Its obvious that you change your bed clothes regulary and also make sure your room is aired properly through the daytime. In winter especially if you keep your windows open to let in cold air that kills the bugs. Just air your room they thrive in warm environments. Also buy a mattress protector i have one its great plus added comfort. Dont eat in bed and keep room dust free as possible. Also how old is your bed?

its around 2 years old

Thats even younger than my bed

i noticed them 2 days back when i was unable to sleep coz my hands were too itchy.. man there are loads of them.. yeah i stay clean.. change bedsheets at a regular time interval.. am now sleeping on the couch and have applied some spray which i got from a friend.. lets see what happens.. and hey i read on wikipedia that they cant resist heat and stay hidden in bed or corners during day time and come feast on human blood only at night unlike you said.. thanks for replies btw

If you see a photo of one magnified its horrible to look at. The hotel where i work even though its 4 star it can still happen. A guest can unknowingly bring them in from somewhere else and they get into hotel beds. They are hard to get rid of but it can be done. Just make sure your sleeping space is clean airy and dust free. Luckily i never had them

I thought they were only in the mattress and pillows/duvet?
Not sure so dont quote me but just wash the pillows and duvet plus all the bed sheets in a very high was (90 degrees) and clean the bed frame and all should be fine.

Yes wash everything @ high temperature then wash your curtains scrub the floor wash all your clothes they could be anywhere. Even clean inside underneath the bed. Good luck and report back

@p900lover i read somewhere that they hide in cracks too @bonovox thanks for all your help mate, i put all the mattresses on terrace in the afternoon so they die of heat and also sprayed the anti-bedbug spray in my whole apartment in the corners and everywhere, lets see what happens...

Get a clothes steamer and use it to steam the mattress and bed frame. 100+ degrees Celsius steam kills the bugs and their eggs.

Only successful way is to have the whole place treated professionally they are some of the hardest little buggers to get rid of.

Yes. Where i work one hotel room had to be sealed off and they put all the furniture in that room inside a huge inflatable tent type thing and they gassed the little critters

Yes sweet dreams. How do you think it started though? Do you think you picked it up from somewhere else? Must be awful

I have this model:
http://www.google.com/product[....]6037164481808179521&sa=title#p
And the price, USD 60, is about what we paid for it here in Muscat. Very effective against bed bugs - as long as the infestation hasn't spread too much! We found a few of these critters in our living room and then steamed all sofas and the carpet. That's more than a year ago and we haven't found any more since then.
I got bitten by one of them and the bites got infected and I had to see a doctor after I got a fever. The bites turned black and took a few months to heal.
