Nice! Anouk82, why don't you make an extended Satio vs Elm thread? Would be nice to see it!

Soon i'll make something like this too...
But will be X10 vs Satio.
Elm or Hazel will not be launched here before Q3 ... So,i've swapped my Milestone for a X10.

It will be great to see that! I've done a "Satio vs E72" before but I'll soon make another "E72 vs C902 vs Satio".

I also think that Esato should open a new main category called something like "Camera Duels" or "Camera Comparisons" so people can have a wider access to all camera comparisons we've done so far.

Enouk I was looking at those pictures, I have to say that elm looks a lot better than satio's pics, but boths devices are using a different ISO and shutter speed.

but in automatic settings its seems to be much easier to use the elm

12mp and 450 euro doesnt make Satio a better camera phone than Elm....only negative in Elm is a bit coolish colours in auto mode.thats all.The little amount of noise, the sharpness, the contrast and the blacks in Elm is years ahead from Satio.Just lets not talk about night photography...

The only "problem" on Elm pictures is the horizontal lines in low light conditions bug... (future updates will fix this,i think...)
As i said long time ago,Satio have a good camera.
Updates can make it better, this is why i'll stay with it.

Mate, could you add some of those comparison shots in full size? I'd like to compare them...

Some pics from recently.

I just want to say I'm still not impressed with the Satio camera, I just don't have the patience to take so many trial pictures just to get one great shot, especially when I'm on the go and I suddenly saw something I want to take a picture of.

Reality check SONY ERICSSON! life doesn't freeze for you to test out your Satio!

The zoom is quite horrible, I might add. We need a better sensor and quicker shutter speeds, this is NOT doing it for me but here are some decent shots. Macro is decent, at least there is something to be happy about.

At least I spotted a Bugatti Veyron today

@Monaco,all your pics shown above would look better just lowering the EV.

Amazing the Veyron Monaco !

Thanks guys!

Yes, my EV was set a little high for some of the pics but I will lower it next time. When the heck can we get any camera software upgrades? I would really like a faster shutter speed and more options. Mainly the shutter speed increase so we can take some great indoor shots WITHOUT flash.

And anybody else have issues taking pictures when zoomed? I mean...what is the point of zooming if its going to be a blurry picture anyways?

@Zide Great sunset landscape, I also took that as my desktop wallpaper. It's too beautiful to resist, also wish I could have a chance to take pic like that someday.

Wonderful pictures. Just one thing that came to my mind: Why is this thread sorted under the category "Symbian Phones"? In generel, will pictures look differently just because the camera unit is mounted in a system that runs Symbian OS and not, for example, Android?

Thanks HxH!

The last 3 pics you posted are great!

Nice to see that Satio is performing well!

larry68 - Are those upload to Esato? They look weird and too soft (and too small!). You should post some with imagehack.
