I have to say im jealous. Ive had my Satio 2 weeks now and still have had no nice weather in the UK to photograph anything worthwhile.

Stupid SE ! releasing a 12mp phone in autumn !

they are not as good as i expected, i can do better pics with my w290 and even with my c905 dont know if it worth the money mmmm

Hi, man! I agree with you! And, besides that, it's well known that Symbian phones cannot have their camera drivers modded.

I will stick to my C905 for now.

Im starting to think the reason most Satio pictures dont look all that good is because everytime they're posted on here or elsewhere in order to show them they have to be resized down.

Thats why in my picture above i included a link to the raw full sized image. The resized version you see is nowhere near as detailed. Possibly the downside to such a large amount of pixels is that they're hard to display on the internet ?

People, I've came across this interesting thing. It is said to work on the Nokia 5800, perhaps it could work for Satio too. That's a mod for one file that sets the picture quality parameter.

I am waiting for my phone to arrive, so I could not try it yet.

PS: You need to have your phone hacked before doing that.

That's not the reason. Have you seen the C905 modded camdriver page? Those pics are also compressed and look way better than these pics from Satio.

Is there autofocus on the night landscape setting ?
I dont have it and the camera takes forever to settle and my pics come out completely black.
As far as I can tell its a completely dead option in my settings

there is autofocus on twilight portrait option which i believe is good for night shots..
the night landscape is purely for night use and u have to use the timer and tripod (place it on something).
and this is what u will get if u place it with timer!
Amazing isn't it?
