In your opinion they may lack. Not by my opinion. My Satio takes fine pictures - not always but most of the time.

Regarding that pixon image, its hosted on Flickr, which automatically sharpens images uploaded. It wasnt the phone which did that. I used to post images on esato from my old SE phones by using Flickr but people complained back then that they were fake and were far too sharp. If you want a comparison, start a comparison thread and not do so in the post a picture section. I come to this thread to view pictures and not post discussions, examples or comparisons.

Uh? Chill out ladie. Yes, it is my opinion as it is the opinion of many other Satio users. No one is saying that your cute Satio takes bad pictures. It takes pictures as good as everyone else's.
And no, the photo was not sharpened by Flikr. I also use it and mine are exactly like they are when viewed in the pc.

The C905 one looks better. It has more contrast and seems to have a better focus.

Why would i need to chill out ? you're coming across as being condescending and do not realise it. I just think you need to learn some forum etiquette as you seem to assume people have bad opinions of the Satio picture quality, when you are the only one who has commented on mine - so it is just you at the moment.

I'll happily debate picture quality versus other phones but not in this thread, since its meant for posting pictures from the Satio and comments about it only.

Add sharpness on picture don't will make it better...
If you don't control exposure the contrast,colors and all details will disappear.

@ Eltoffer

What setting did you use in those few shots? Are you using image stablization? They look crispier and sharper than mine!

SATIO compare with Pixon12 link to fullsize HERE

Pixon12

SATIO

[ This Message was edited by: Sassho on 2010-03-25 17:42 ]

Posted by Luhccas-U1a
Overbright,wrong scene,different configurations,different focal aperture...
This isn't a comparison because pixon 12 has been configured before the shots,satio not.
Like Plank does in all comparisons

Posted by pmet
I agree Pixon's pics were higher in saturation thus look more vibrant. Saturation, too much of it, can be bad too. Somewhere between Satio and Pixon is ideal!

All images from two phones are make on AUTO.

Posted by zide
The Satio ones seem better to me. But those Pixons shots are not in 12MP, are they?

Posted by Sassho
Same option have in SATIO - this is crop to 4000x2400 pixels , but Pixon12 have 28mm wide angle lens. This is better cameraphone.
[ This Message was edited by: Sassho on 2010-03-25 20:33 ]

Sassho, the best cameraphone in the moment is Satio. This is the ugly truth for Samsung. Ask his boss, why he is a Satio user too. Nobody cares what you think.

Hello, the Satio is easier than the Pixon12 for macros with flash (you can play with exposure/that's impossible with Pixon12) and you must play with ISO settings with the Samsung. (there's no ISO settings on Satio).

But these comparison pics are made with no settings at all on both phones, just macro for macro lol.

Sorry my english is not perfect.

First pic with the Satio.

Don't matter dude... The camera settings are different for a comparison.
Focal aperture on Pixon 12 = 2.6
Satio = 2.8
ISO on Pixon = 50
Satio = 64
Focal distance on pixon 12 = 4,60mm
Satio = 5,91mm
